Awesome product
March 3, 2023
This is a great tool for training probably is real and affordable as it gets without using real birds for training a puppy. My GSP loves this thing and is progressing very well in his training using this item! Partner to this product with the scent it works outstanding!

The best thing about it,, is they use real fresh pheasant. It was like they just skined it.. it was that fresh. I like the weight on it. The down side, like everybody else said. It is held together with zip ties. Feather didn't last 1 season.

Pheasant Decoy
February 9, 2021
Well made decoy. As I am training a new puppy, this decoy will be used for the latter stages of his training. It's realistic feel, smell and taste will go a long way in completing Duke's exercises before live bird field work.

Springer Spaniel Went Nuts For This Dummy
October 6, 2020
The Dummy itself is of high quality and is perfect for retrieving. The pheasant feathers are attached via zip ties and I would recommend adding a few additional ties. After a few days of training all of the feathers fell off in the field...luckily our dog retrieved all of the various parts! We are using this to train a Springer Spaniel puppy and the only negative is that she liked it sooo much she did not want to give it up though she was proficient at fetch, sit and drop with other items. It is getting better now in week three.

Purchased for GSP training - was refusing anything not the real deal
September 3, 2020
This product has been very helpful in the training of my new GSP. She would not show any interest unless it was a real bird. This got her immediate interest. I was not a fan of the cable ties used to keep the pheasant pelt in place so I removed them and placed bands cut out of bicycle types instead and we are golden.

I have American Cocker spaniels. I love the this product, and my dogs are very excited to retrieve it. A great tool for dogs to learn to carry a feathered bird properly and promptly. The texture and feel is more like the real thing compared to just a canvas dummy. Well worth having in my dogs training. I will be purchasing more.

Good for the price. As close to the real thing as you can get. It will only take so much abuse, but that's to be expected.
