They are quite thin and easily crushed and ripped. Now to be fair my dog is a German Shepherd and probably has a stronger bite than a Lab, but they last about a half hour of retrieving.

These are great for people like me that are training one dog for personal use. I don't know how good they will be after heavy use though. Probably will be good still.

These have been great for pile work for both of my British Labs. Durable and they don't stiffen up when left outside like some other options I've used. Second time I've purchased these and I will again.

Although we have no formal training, this bumper is easy to throw a long distance, great contrast with the ocean, floats well and the dog is obsessed with it. It wouldn’t last long as a chew toy but that’s not what it’s made for. Great substitute for a stick or a ball at the beach!

We purchased a second set of these dummy”s to share with the dogs that come and visit. They ALL love chasing and retrieving them when thrown. Our dogs are not hunting dogs, just playful labs living the good family life on water. They float- have a great launching tie string, and knobby for easier water retrieval. Love our dummy’s…. We use these as sweepstakes prizes for puppies at Kennel Club of Philadelphia conformation show. Because chesapeakes are TRULY dual purpose. Many times this is the first intro to a real bumper for these young dogs. The excitement is so intense with some of them when they receive this as a prize is wonderful to behold.

These bumpers are smaller in diameter than a lot of my bumpers I train with but training waterfowl retrievers many different sizes of bumpers are needed so no problem there. I was skeptical when they first arrived because the material they are made out of is not quite as thick as a per se Lucky Dog bumpers. I was extremely amazed at how far you can hand throw these bumpers. Plenty of distance. These bumpers are perfect to use anywhere from training a puppy to a full grown dog.

At the moment I can only do 4 stars since I haven't received my puppy yet. These bumpers and the rest of your products come very highly recommended from Southern Dream Retrievers and the Hero To The Line organization for training a future champion retriever. Once I bring (Legend) my dog home and put these to use I'm sure I will be able to add the 5th star.

Just what I wanted, perfect.

Would not recommend at all. From the first retrieve, the black part is just a painted-on coating and started to come off in my dogs mouth as soon as he bit down on it. I took it away and refuse to use it any more.

My dog is a very strong chewer. It could be more heavy duty to keep from getting chewed up as quickly.

My only wish is they were US Made! Otherwise great deal on these bumpers. I not only use them but provide one to each of my puppy clients. Wonderful fetch toy for them to play with during fetch time?

We love these black and white bumpers in Montana come wintertime. We can still train on nice days and see them on the snow. Happy Training!!!

Works well for my lab. I dipped the tip of the rope in quail scent which helps him find in heavy cover. So far seem to be good quality and the price can't be beat.

Got this bumper in orange. Perfect for river retrieves with my pup. Note -- if your goober dog chews off the top while in the river it will sink. LOL,- don't ask. I got it back! :-)

I have bought all kinds of Dummies for our dogs and despite being among the least expensive, these are of no less quality than the expensive ones. In fact, they come with a rope, float, are flexible and a lot of fun in the pool, in the field for training and in the ocean! Our labs love them and I'll never buy the other brands again.

These are good for the price. The dogs can destroy them pretty easily if I don't pay attention, so it's good they're not too expensive.

These are great bumpers, reasonably priced, and sturdy. My dogs love them!

These are cheap and effective. They do get a little hard in the cold and a little soft in the heat, but so will any plastic item. The dog was able to chew through one, but that is because it was left out. Cannot beat the price compared to other name brands charging triple for 1 dummy.

Ordering my white bumpers was quick and easy.

Simple and inexpensive with no silly extras

I needed bunch of dummies for doing pile and T work, and with the low price of these, I figured they were worth a shot. So far, I have been really impressed. I bought several of both orange and white. The quality seems good. The plastic is soft enough to be slightly pliable, and the knobby texture is easy for my dog to grip. I would definitely purchase these again.

These were the least expensive training dummies I could find and seem to work fine. My Chesapeakes have seemed to consider training dummies their favorite chew toy in spite of my efforts to keep them out of reach except during training i.e. any dummies don't seem to last long once they get ahold of them. These work as well as any of the other dozens of dummies I have tried, at a more reasonable price. Very prompt and professional service from Gun Dog Supply too.
