This collar is easy to adjust to size and, as it's red, looks great on my black lab. As with most Gun Dog Supply products, the price is as good as you can find. The ID plate was accurate, and the advice that is given about the text on it (it doesn't need to include the dog's name) is spot on.

Great collar! I have a dog that tries to chase squirrels up trees. I’ve found his collar several times on a branch. So, the quick release is a great for his safety.

  • Great collar with info label. I’ve gotten one for each of my three dogs. I like that the fastener snaps into place and stays well, and that it self release should a dog get snagged or trapped in brush or limbs. This prevents dog from possibly being choked or caught in a bad situation.

Wonderful collar, strong and well-made. Our 84 pound lab mix is mostly black so the red contrasting collar is a winner. Additionally, while this was a fairly minor purchase, the company shows their gratitude for it. My dog will only wear GunDog collars.

The name tag reduced the amount I could adjust the collar. As a result, the collar was always too large. He chewed it off. The DVD had no data on it and I could not read it. I hesitate to buy collars through you though I admit I did not measure my puppies neck, I believed I bought one of the proper size for my GSP.

Excellent value, bright red color, strong buckle, should be a great solution for years to come. The measurements on the website are accurate, our dogs neck is a just under 16" so the large is a little loose on her (we didn't want the 3/4" and we're fine with the loose collar).

I admit that I searched the box stores for a new collar but I couldn’t find anything that measured up. There’s a lot of crap out there! The construction and coloring of this Orange collar is what I had hoped for. The information plate is easy to read. However the placement of the brass information plate renders the collar incapable of its overall size adjustment which made the second collar I ordered to large for my second dog. Satisfied with the collar though.

This is our second identical collar for our 2nd dog. Great build quality. Overall, very happy. Slightly disappointed in the fact the black on the brass plate wore off in a week! You can still read the stamping of the address, but not as clearly as when I first received it. It should certainly last longer than a week!

It’s a great collar but I must have measured incorrectly. Her neck is 17 inches so I selected the 1 inch collar I thought said it would fit a dog’s neck 16 inches or bigger. I also like the ID plate with this collar it seems to prevent it from tightening up to the 17 inches I measured. So, it’s too loose. I plan to reorder one where we can buckle it to the correct fit, instead. All to say, be careful with your measurements.

This collar is built sturdy and looks good. The lock isn't built cheap like other brands that my dog has pulled apart. Plus the brass name plate looks good, and gives me a good sense of security that if he was lost someone could find me. Another thing I like about this collar is the heavy duty D ring, again with other collars my dog has simply pulled until they came apart. My dog has not had this collar very long yet, but this seems to be the best built collar he has had.

I love the 1 inch collar more than the 3/4 inch. The quick clip on the 1 inch is easier to open than the 3/4 inch. The label is very secure on the collar. My only problem is I have 4 dogs, and 3 of them have a neck size between 16-17 inch, so with the label 3 of my dogs cannot wear the 1 inch collar, just a bit large. If the label was just a bit smaller or moved over a bit, then perhaps the collar would fit my smaller neck dogs.

The buckle is robust and provides easy on and off. The adjustment is easy on the collar for size too. I really like the name tag riveted to the collar. My dog comes from working cattle dogs and is rough on tags. So far so good.

I bought the bright orange which complements her black fur. I fitted it with the strobe light for early morning walks. The brass nameplate is a god send since we live on the coast and all other dog tags rusted or disintegrated in no time. Also, the way the tag is secured to the collar eliminates all the noise usually associated with dog tags.

This is an excellent collar, and the plastic quick release clasp is a great feature to compliment the training/containment collar that provides stimulation for correction - nothing to short the probes. I'll buy it again, especially if Bones gets sprayed by a skunk again.....

I love the collar, BUT due to the placement of the name tag on the collar, the clasp will not slide over the metal tag, so it will not adjust all the way down, and is too big for his neck.

We purchase 3 each year, so they each have orange collars. The only fault I find is the brightness of the orange fades after a few months. I'm sure there's nothing to be done about it except to buy the plastic ones. I don't feel they are good for the dogs hair and skin. They fit well and last a long time. I only buy new ones, so the orange color is bright.
