We have a new fur baby (Black Lab named River) that was eating so fat, he was making himself sick. I spoke with our Dr. and his trainer and both immediately recommended the brake-fast bowl. This has made a HUGE difference in his approach to food. I have found the bowl easy to clean and would highly recommend to anyone.

We bought a large Break Fast bowl a while back and it works amazing and well put together. So, when we got a puppy and he needed to slow down his eating we immediately thought of this bowl. Unfortunately when it arrived it was not as well made as the previous bowl we ordered. The posts do not screw down to lay flat on the bowl, leaving gaps between the post and bowl. A great place for a puppy tongue to get caught and cut. We kept the bowl, due to it being used. We do enjoy all other supplies ordered from Gun Dog.

Bought this bowl for my lab, the functionality of the bowl is great but the practicality of this bowl is not good in the stainless steel. The knobs are screwed into the bowl and food gets underneath the knobs so if you purchase this bowl you will need to remove the knobs and clean under them. I was clued into this by the very foul smell being omitted by the funk under the knobs. When I removed one of the knobs there were actual maggots under it. Very unappealing, can't believe I was feeding my dog from this gross bowl. Moved to the donut looking stainless steel bowl that is one solid piece. This is a much better bowl unless you like cleaning the bowl after every feeding. If that is the case this bowl could work for you and your pup.

I lost one of my dogs last year due to his habit of gulping his food and choking to death. I saw the same habit starting with my young female, so I ordered the bowl and it has really helped.

Got this for my Pudelpointer puppy as she otherwise would inhale her food. It slows her down enough because she also has to think about how to eat around the objects. I do wash it by hand but for some reason, the rubber bottom keeps pulling up, making the non-slip function moot. I have to continually put the rubber rim back on the bowl. Otherwise, it serves it's purpose.

I bought this for my golden retriever puppy to slow him down during eating.

Was highly disappointed with this product. The pylons do not attach very well. Ordered 2 bowls and one of the pylons would not attach at all. The rubber gasket on the base of the bowl does not stay attached either. This is the first product from Gun Dog that has been a disappointment.

All of my dogs have a slow feed bowl, but one still gobbles his meals, so I purchased the 'Brake Fast bowl, and it has been very successful. I am so relieved as big chested dogs gobbling feed is so dangerous. Everything I have purchased from Gun Dog Supply does what it says and customer service is wonderful too. Thank you.

This bowl works. My dog now has to chase the food around the bowl, which in turn slows her down. Beside the bowl, the service that I receive from Steve and his team is the #1 reason I return. Thanks Steve and Team.

Don't waste your money on the blue plastic bowl, go with the stainless instead!!

Has worked extremely well. Have not seen any food being spit back out, etc., since using. Is a bit large, but does what it says it will!

It takes up a little bit more space than I thought, but it does exactly what it is supposed to and has helped my dog with some acid reflux issues he was having by slowing down his eating. Great product.

The bowl works great. It slides across the floor which makes him eat slower.

This bowl stopped our Golden from gulping his food. He still doesn't chew it as much I'd like, but he takes 3 times as long to finish. I recommend Brake-Fast.

Our puppy would figuratively inhale her food to the point that she would bring it back up. The Brake-Fast Bowl slowed her down immensely and there has been no more regurgitation issues.

I love the fact he can't just gorge himself anymore. It has slowed his eating time considerably. I would recommend this to anyone who has a dog who likes to eat fast.

I really liked the rubber base, but then my husband's german shorthair got ahold of the bowl and chewed off the rubber base. It's too bad because I really liked that feature. Of course the bowl itself works great anyway. Thank you.

So far I really like this bowl. I like the fact that it is stainless, so it's easy to clean. The rubber bottom keeps it from moving while he is eating. I still feed him 1/3 of his food at a time as that slows him down more and does not get food stuck in his throat as much.
