We love our new bright orange hunting collar with engraved name plate. My dog's hunting bell slides right onto it. It appears to be impervious to weather!

I was really impressed with the hunter orange collar with the O-ring. The only thing that I would’ve liked to have seen on the collar would have been another little ring, or attachment that I could attach my dogs’ rabies tags to…either way… great product.

Our 11 year old took a tour of the neighborhood, he didn’t have a name tag on so we looked all over town for him and called sheriff’s office to see if anyone called about a yellow lab. Someone had so after 3 or 4 hours he was back at home. A friend of ours told us that a name plate came with each collar at gundogsupply.com. I thought that they may be more expensive but they aren’t. I’m very happy to have this piece of mind. He is chipped and the puppy will be chipped when he gets older but this gives us an extra piece of mind and anyone finding either dog knows where to call to find us.

Good collar for my puppy. Purchased as a temporary collar for my 4 month old Lab pup while she grows into the 1 inch by 15 inch collar I also purchased. Needed something with a nameplate. Only improvement would be to have a keeper for the tab so my puppy wouldn't try to grab it and chew it (using middle hole on the collar).

This collar is perfect for our very lively 4 month old German Wirehair. It fit great with room to grow, it’s sturdy and waterproof, and the ring at the back is just right for clipping the leash on so the collar stays in place on her neck when we walk. The brass ID tag very professionally done and accurate. This price is half of what we were seeing locally and collar much nicer as well. Highly recommend.

These are good quality collars. I have been using them on my Labs and Setters for years. The center ring collar is the safest one to use on hunting dogs. No D-ring to snag, no dangling tags to rip free in the brush. The riveted name plates hold up well to severe abuse. I have recommended these collars to training clients and hunting buddies whenever they ask about my choice of collar. Tip: Order a pile of these things. The shipping costs more than a single collar, so you might as well stock up and have a few spares.

This is my third collar from GDS and I'm a customer for life. The collars withstand all the hell my ranch dog puts them through - brush, water, skunks - and wipe clean with no odor.
The 3/4" center ring day glow collar is the same quality I have come to expect and is a cost-effective way to put my phone number and address on my new pup. The puppy will outgrow the collar before it even gets a chance to get old, and I'll be back here to buy him a bigger one when he's ready.

Although this collar ended up being too large for my small dog, a Chihuahua mix, the material is super durable. The name plate is excellent and easy to read. I won't discount any stars from the review for the size because my girl is really tiny and it's hard to find anything that fits her. I'll definitely recommend Gun Dog Supply to my friends and family!

First of all, the price is great, and the material of the collar is great as well. I like the name tag, too, but it would be better if the name tag was attached to the other end of the collar rather than the buckle end. On the buckle end, the name tag is covered up by the tail of the collar when the collar is on the dog. Also, it would have been good to have a loop on the collar to contain the tail end when the collar is on the pup. As it is, the tail end of the collar sticks out, and my pup spends a lot of time trying to get the tail nd of the collar in her mouth. Puppies!

Nice and durable collar that will fit a small 10 week old 7 1/2 pound French puppy. The one mistake that I made was getting the name plate. With such a small puppy the brass name plate made it fit square on her neck and was awkward. If your getting a small dog I would suggest not getting a collar with a name tag until they get a little bigger. That does not bother me because I will be able to use it when she gets bigger. I like the feel and quality of this collar enough to get one for my other dog.

I bought 2 of these collars for my dogs to wear while running in the woods and swimming. They fit well and are easy to clean. The only negative is that the ID plate is slowly tarnishing.

The collars are great! I wish the leather collars where cheaper but these PVC (as I call them) collars are great because anyone can see them while the dogs are running through the field at night when they through the flashlight on them to see that my dogs our in the lead! Well sometimes in the lead! I just thank you all so much for getting them to me so fast!
