Perfect fit

Fits my Lab/Basset Hound perfectly! She's all black, so this orange and reflective collar stands out very well on her. At night when she's out in the field it's really easy to spot her now. The engraved name plate is easy to read. The materials are super sturdy.

Dependable and tough collars

I have had a pair of these collars on two of my hog dogs for over a year and a half. Besides from the color fading slightly, the collars still look as good as when I got them. No tears in the collar material, and the reflective paint has held up well also. I just bought another collar for my wife's Weimaraner, and if these ever wear out, I will be buying these again.

Love the 1.5inch collar for my 90+lb lab. Allows a wider area for any pressure put on the collar and reduces the dog choking itself with a skinnier band collar.

I bought this because I saw it on my in laws dog. I have a black lab and she can be hard to see at night since we live in a small town. I absolutely love it! I would recommend it to anyone.

Unlike the nylon or fabric collars this collar stands up to any weather conditions. Super visible with the bright color and the reflective stripe. The easy clean up with some dish soap, dries in a minute and NEVER smells funky! The main reason though I love this collar is the brass plate name tag that’s mounted to the collar. I don’t have to worry about the tag coming off. With the affordable price it’s a no brainer

This is a rugged, well made collar that looks great on the dog. Very practical for a farm dog that rolls in all sorts of disgusting things. Highly reflective at night.

Great Collar for Big Dogs

I have a lab/great dane mix (a rescue) who is super strong. 18 months old and 100 lbs. This collar has been amazing with keeping him secure. I tried the 1" non d-ring and he had broken through the rivets (it was replaced without any issues and quickly and I will use it for my next dog.)

We moved to Western North Carolina and knew we would need a brightly colored collar for our large black dog as there are tons of bear here and didn’t want her confused with one 😂😂.
I couldn’t be more happy. This collar is SUPER bright, extremely well made, the name plate is worth more than what it sells for. I could go on and on. I am so pleased.

Big Collar and High Visibility

This 1 1/2 inch collar is big and can be seen from a great distance, which is very helpful for me when I am working around the farm. I use both this collar for my wire-haired pointing griffon and also a sheep's bell, so I have both visual and audio clues to get a sense of where the dog is while I do chores. The reflective strip is also a plus on this waterproof collar. If you need visibility - these bigger collars are excellent. My dog weighs about 65 pounds, and this collar looks appropriate on him even though it is wider than the typical one inch collar.

At first I wasn't sure how my German Shorthaired Pointer would like it, but after a few days it fit her well. High quality material and the best part is if it is a little big you can always punch a new hole and cut off any excess material.

Rather stiff, due to width and thickness, but the 1-1/2 inch wide really stands out on my dogs necks. Very bright at night when illuminated by flashlights etc. Great quality. Doesn't have the back neck roll ring which may not work very well because of collars width. This is my go to collar.

American made, with heavy duty hardware with high quality nickel plating. Well designed, and the tackiness of the synthetic coating makes it even harder for buckles to shift or for my dog to slip the collar. Very happy so far, and GDS's prices and service are an excellent value.

Excellent collar. This is the third one we have purchased. The only reason for us purchasing additional collars is to refresh the reflective strip which eventually (multiple years of daily use) will wear off. Highly recommend this collar.

I had one and lost it. I ordered this one as a replacement. I really like the beaded edge to protect the reflective stripe. However the 1.5 inch width is way too wide for my dog. I had the 1 inch beaded one before, but that is apparently not available any longer. On the other hand I have had collars like this on my dogs for 3+ years, and they still look like new. I would absolutely order it again.

We use this collar for our trail walks and at night. It's durable, water proof (doesn't bleed onto her coat), and the reflective band is definitely noticeable in low light.

Fades, and center strip wears off after a year... In Field Trial Competition, we need a high Viz Florescent Yellow as well as the Florescent Orange in each brace... Basically the same 2 colors as on the reversible collars. But would be really nice to have the Yellow available in a wide, solid Florescent Yellow in durable Plastic, much like you offer in Orange.

Again, GDS customer service is unmatched. Excellent collar and perfect if your dogs are in water, brush, mud, and swamp. My dogs experience all of the above and the collars are perfect. Price is great period, but very impressive when compared to big box stores. These clean up very easy and keep their color and reflective strip well. Great product, great customer service.
