Excellent quality and fast service

This is a really nice quality made collar. Worth the price. Material is durable, but pretty substantial in weight. I bought for my pup, so I wish it was a bit lighter. The only thing I wish I knew before hand was a dee-end collar will "ding" against the buckle. I like purchasing the mounted name tag collars because they don't produce any extra jingles.

Was questioning the smell factor . Keeva is in the lake for at least 2 hours every day. Swimming and retrieving, thru plants of watershed, sand and some muck. The collar is on her 24/7 for several weeks. No hot spots, no STINKY SMELL ! Really impressed with this collar especially seeing this has been during very hot weather. When this Lab isn’t in the lake we are out walking thru the woods. No plants caught in it either. Really nice product.

These collars are tough, flexible and highly visible. Having my information on the collar gives me piece of mind. If you hunt with dogs you can't go wrong with these collars.

We’ve used these collars for several years now and won’t use anything else. They last forever (the only reason I had to replace one was we moved and I screwed up one of our existing collars trying to change out the ID tag), and if your dog is a water dog they don’t absorb water and end up stinking. Love these collars!

Our Lewellin setter swims in our pond several times a day so this collar is perfect for him. His old collars would begin to smell after being wet, but the Tuf Flex collar is water proof AND odor resistant! This collar feels soft and looks great. We also had the brass ID plate attached. Highly recommend this collar.

I noticed my sisters dogs had new collars and they looked really nice so I asked her where they were from. She pointed me in the direction of this one. My dog doesn’t usually wear a collar because I can’t stand the jingling noise tags make and they always seem to get smelly and dirty. We’re moving soon and had plans to go camping and I decided it was a good idea for my dog to have a collar and tags jut in case. The ordering process was really easy, I like the tips on measuring my dogs neck to get the right size and the tips on what to put on the tags. I emailed a question about a color match between the collar and leash and I received a response very quickly. Has an leather type feel to it without the leather hassle. I love the brass name plate riveted to the collar as opposed to dangling name tags. Great product!

Very well built. Was tired of stinky collars that stayed wet for hours. Only wish they had a stainless tag option instead of brass but not a deal breaker. Would recommend.

Our male Vizsla is 2 years old, weighs about 162, his neck measures 16". We ordered the 17" collar and it fits very well. We have tried durable collars with the side release, but they can release too easily and the D rings were not strong enough for our dog. We've lost many name tags, rabies tags, and even the collar was lost in the woods. This collar is fantastic. It is durable, the dee-ring is strong, and the name plate is a terrific addition. It also cleans up well. This collar is secure and will never get lost in the woods. The orange color is nicely visible.

Great collar. My first TufFlex and D-end collar. Softer, but seems more durable and color-fast than the nylon collars I've always used. Excellent price, quality, and service, as always, from GDS!

Not happy with the buckle.. it is quite fat and makes a bulge. I thought I was ordering the plain buckle with keeper that I have ordered in the past. Color is nice. But will not order this one again.

We’re from south Texas where dove hunting is like a religion. Maya’s collar is durable in the mesquites and other brush plus it looks great too!

My 4 or 5th collar order from GDS and they never disappoint! The collars are top quality, last forever and all are customized with the brass name tag. Also, the prices are better than much lower quality collars at the pet stores and those do not come with the nametags!

We bought these collars (2 of them) almost 15 years ago for our German Shorthaired Pointers. We lost our dogs in 2020 and they both lived almost 15 years and only used these collars throughout their whole life. When it was time to get collars again for our new dogs (we adopted a 1 year old Lab and a 12 week old Pointer) we didn’t even think about anything else. We don’t look at brands or models anywhere because after 15 years the two original collars still look BRAND NEW after sooooo many years of swimming, sun and snow. It is almost scary! :) The only reason we replaced them is because it was too painful to keep seeing the collars that remind us of our babies, so we put them in storage and got this color. It is absolutely perfect on our white Labrador. Our GSP puppy will be getting his Real/Forever collar when he reaches his adult size as well. We can’t recommend enough.

Just received this collar, I really like the material it’s made from. Strong, yet soft and flexible, unlike the old plastic covered ones. Appears it should last quite awhile. Excellent price and super fast shipping ! Great customer service! 5 stars.

Collar withstands rough play. The old collars I had bought would just rip off. Not these ones plus no tag to get lost. Also cleans up well if dirty.. Highly recomend!

Needed collars that were tough due to heavy playing. Dogs would rip the tags off each other and also the collars with the plastic snap buckle. These collars were perfect!

I've been buying the TufFlex collars for our dogs for years. All three of my labs are still wearing the first TufFlex collars we bought for them. I have never had to replace a single one. Most recent purchase was for my pup who's finally big enough for a real collar. Easy to clean, easy to put on and remove from the dog's neck, and pretty much indestructible. My dogs swim a lot. The collars stand up to heavy water exposure as well.

Works as advertised and looks good

I live on a salt water bay and have been using this collar for several years. I switched to it when an all stainless steel collar (metal components) was no longer available. Until my recent order the TufFlex collar withstood the salt water exposure reasonably well with cleaning and oiling the roller on a regular basis. On this recent order the buckle roller was pitted and rusted within two weeks. The rest of the buckle “jewelry” is fine but the rust from the roller discolors the collar and tends to freeze the buckle pin making the collar difficult to take off. Without salt water exposure I suspect these collars would perform great. But for the rust issue they are pretty much indestructible.

So glad to have purchased this orange collar. I love the large engraved tag with enough room for any information you'd want to put on the tag. The collar shipped quickly (as everything I've purchased from gun dog supply) and when I forgot to indicate which size collar, someone called me the next morning to get me size. Great customer service, great products and super fast shipping!

Love this collar! It doesn't get smelly after getting wet and it is easy to clean if it does get dirty. No question that I will always buy these collars for my dogs! I bought this one for my sister's dog who is always in the pool.

In my opinion this is a top-notch product, that you won't find at your local pet shop. I love the idea real leather collars but the upkeep and switching them out when near water just isn't working the hassle for me.
