I have purchased numerous ones of these collars. This is the 2nd for Luna. The name plate somehow came off the first one. However, my previous lab had his Orange one for years. Luna is almost 3. They are great because she can get wet and they do not smell!! Also, I love the plate if she was to ever get nosy and run off it has my number to call/text!

I bought one of these in orange for my Lab over a year ago. It still looks great and holds up to the new pup dragging him around by it! I love the ability to wash and dry it with a towel when it gets dirty . It stays soft and pliable in our below zero winters and dries quickly when we enjoy our water sports in the summer. I like brass name plates that are attached to the collar and the fact that they put it on for you is a plus.

Wish I would have got a 3/4 inch collar for my dog. The 1 inch is just a little too wide for her neck, but all in all a good collar.

This is the perfect collar. It is heavy duty and the tag on it makes it perfect nothing dangling, so the dog can get caught when playing or in the field would definitely recommend been using these colors for about 10 years now and wouldn’t go back to any other collar

Qualification: the collar has been in use for three weeks, so no report on longevity. It is exactly as described and pictured. The "Tuflex" is fairly soft and pliable, so if it remains that that way over time the 5 stars are appropriate. It is for a Lab that manages to find something unpleasant to roll in on a freshly waxed basketball court. This collar eliminates the many small crevices on typical collars and particularly on those with plastic snap closures. Very easy to clean, 30 seconds. We put this on her for a.m dog park excursions, then put a lighter collar on the day.

I love these collars. I got mine 3 1/2 years ago and my dogs wear them almost daily. Everyone thinks they're real leather but they have none of the cleaning required of leather. My dogs swim in them weekly in the summer. They've been to the ocean. They go hiking. They go to the barn with me almost daily. And the collars are still in amazing condition. My sister recently got a dog and the first thing she asked me was where I got the collars for my dogs because they've held up so well for such a long time.

I’ve used these collars for everyone of my dogs. For the money you cannot beat them, color choices, soft and flexible with a leathery feel. After time (a long time) they will start to stiffen but they won’t wear out. I also have labs that are in and out of water every day which may affect how fast the oils collect on the inside of the collar and I’ve also never tried cleaning them on a regular basis. That may extend the softness beyond a few years. I’ve yet to find a better collar out there.

I received the collar I ordered and the only thing that disappointed me was the small size of the lettering on the brass plate. I only had my phone number on the plate however the size of the number was so small that the number could have been lettered on the tag 4 times. The service was excellent--hard to find today!

So my GSP doesnt normally wear a collar due to each one he has had rubs the fur off his neck. Cut to several weeks ago when my landscapers left my side gate open and my pup decided to have an adventure. I totally panicked because, hello! No collar!! He is chipped but that is a much lengthier process to get him home if found- scanning the chip. Thankfully he didnt get far but those 30 min were the worst. I immediately went to Gun Dog Supply because I recalled that his breeder ONLY uses these collars and ordered one. He has been wearing his collar 100% I have peace of mind in case he gets out ever again (other measures also taken to limit the gate being left open) and his neck fur hasnt gone anywhere! The collar honestly looks great for how simple it is. I have the brown one on my chocolate lab. I was nervous how it would appear on his coat, but we love it. Durable and doesn't hold scent. I can see my pup wearing these collars for the rest of his days.

I ordered the 1" TufFlex Standard Collar on the recommendation of our trainer after my GSD broke his previous collar and took off. When a recommendation comes from a former Air Force MWD handler, it carries a lot of weight! So far the collar has stood up to his high prey drive and GSD stubbornness and selective hearing; I do feel comfortable in it holding up as we work on all of the issues he came to me with. I also appreciate wholeheartedly the price - it's a good price for a product that should last for his lifetime. The optional tag was a great addition, as were the recommendations on what to include (and not include) on the tag.

These collars are durable and long lasting. They dry quickly and unlike leather collars they are odor free. High vis is also a nice touch. I would highly recommend
