We purchased the above collar after trying it from one borrowed from another of your customers. Our male rescued standard poodle who chases rabbits and pulls a lot has definitely et his match with the new small sized pinch collar. The collar has made walking him a lot easier.

This is an efficient way to remove the collar from one's dog. However, the pinch mechanism is a bit stiff, and must be positioned properly in order to engage---not difficult at all. Overall, much faster than unbuckling a collar or using plastic pinchers. Plastic can really stiffen in cold weather, usually resulting in having to wait until one's hands and the plastic have sufficiently warmed inside for the collar to be removed.

I tried the official Sprenger collar before buying this one and I am very happy that I switched. The quick release makes this so much easier to get on and off my dog instead of having to pull the prongs apart to remove it. I have a 75 lb very heavy puller and with this collar on he is a dream walker. It's great quality and I highly recommend it.

I have had to move to OmniPet pinch collars because hermen sprenger collars have become very hard to get. The OmniPet pinch collars work ok they just are not as smooth as HS's. The chrome coating will rust very quickly. Luckly we are pretty dry here in New Mexico.

My dog is an English Pointer/Pit mix and he is quite the puller, I’ve tried other prong collars on him and to fit his big neck the prongs were too big to be effective. This collar is big enough for his neck and also has smaller prongs that provide a better correction. The quick release function makes taking it off and putting it on super easy. Highly recommend this collar!

We have use this collar for walking our Silver Lab puppy, Echo, who is 8 months old. Works great to help her learn not to pull and what it means to heal when walking. Way way more humane to an animal learning to be trained correctly! I personally have been around livestock my whole life and pinch method is way more humane!

These collars run large. I bought this collar for a dog that normally wears a medium. The nice thing is that the prongs are shorter than the normal medium collar, though they still look huge on my medium sized dog!

For a rescue dog. Was starved, and hair falling out from horrible infestation with intestinal worms. Literally lost 5 lbs when we dewormed him, which is pretty gross if you think about it. Anemic enough that the vet wanted to give him a blood transfusion. Pretty stout dog, despite the neglect. Unfamiliar with the concept of walking on a leash. Regular collar or harness would have been okay if I wanted him to tow a VW, not so much for me to calmly walk beside him. Pinch collar was easy to adjust. French snap quick release is just the ticket. Far superior to the slip it over his head type. Works well, and easy to correct him when he gets a bit excited.

Although this collar is labeled as small, it is on my medium large dog. The x-small is definitely sized right, but the other collars seem to run large and are heavy. This might be okay for an actual working dog, but I am using it on a working breed who was breed as a show dog.

Was having trouble walking my one year old Chocolate lab because of pulling and jumping. This collar has done wonders in quieting Charlie down. We still have some work to do, But he is doing much better.

My dog is what I would call a hard dog. I put the collar on him and on the third day he said let there be light. I would have saved myself a lot of time had I used this collar long ago. streak241

Ordered a medium. Had to remove 5 links. The quick release part is very stiff. I am hoping it gets easier with use. It is a strong collar and is doing as it is suppose to. I use it on both dogs.

I have the collar adjusted quite loose and use a standard length lead when walking her. The slightest tug will get an immediate positive response. This by no means a cruel collar! HOWEVER...Always Remove it when the training session is done!

Extremely well made, but too big for my dog. Returned. I paid for shipping again. Ordered a medium. It seems to work quite well. Waiting for my refund. I'm sure it will come. The steel gauge on these are very thick and very heavy. Seems like a great company.

I first purchased the large size with larger links because I had measured my dog, and thought she needed it. I had to remove four links from it, and it was very heavy. I called and was able to swap it for the medium with smaller links, and it is working very well. I had a pleasant experience with the man on the phone.

Well I originally ordered the wrong size, but a quick phone call made it right, and I had it the next day. I have used it on my very high strung dog several times already, and the results were super. It does not compare to the one I lost. It works well once it's on, but the closure is difficult to pinch open. I don't remember having this problem with my original collar. I bought that one in 1992. Guess they just don't make 'em like they used to. BTW, both are made in Germany.
