I just got a German Shepard from the shelter. I hired a trainer and a dog psychologist to help me with him since he has some issues. The trainer gave a prong collar that I hated mostly because it is so hard to get on and off.. I decided to try this leash. I asked the psychologist if I should switch from this leash to a martingale collar with a leather leash. He told me to stick with this leash because it is such a GOOD leash. I was happy to hear that since I have no knowledge of the quality of dog products.

This leash is well made, looks good, and arrived quickly! Although I ordered black, and received a camo colour, I think I like the colour better than plain black! Shipping was expensive, but I can't find this lead anywhere! Thanks, I'll definitely buy from you guys again!

I use it at the animal shelter that I volunteer at. Works very well. Strong enough for the big undisciplined dog, but gets small enough and is light enough for the little guys.

Love this soft slip lead. The 4 ft. is perfect for working/training/walking, with your dog. Very handy length! The 6 ft. gives a few options. The leather stop is great for holding the lead in place. This is so easy to use, and the dogs like it. If I get the leash out and form the neck loop, the girls immediately put their heads through the loop. I guess it means that they like it and want to go! Just love them. Very comfortable and work well with training. Nothing to snap or buckle.

I bought two of these (one six foot, and one four foot). While I realize they are not tough like the Dayglo chain leads with floating ring I hunt with, these type of leads are great for taking the dogs to the vet, etc.
The third time using the six foot, my Plott snapped it in half. I could not believe it.
I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it to anyone (unless you have a little tiny breed.

Quick and can be adapted for a nose loop or a waist loop for closer control or training. It is the only lead I use.

Dog responded very well. Liked it because it's not as narrow as the nylon vet leashes. and the leather stopper works great Be careful not to leave them unattended with it on as chewy dogs will go right through it. Good value for the cost.

The six foot slip lead allows me to control the dogs with either a figure 8 around the snout or a loop around the waist, or as a conventional lead. It is quick to release and allows me to avoid the necessity of a collar, which can lead to hanging or hang up in a working dog. Great product. PS: The four foot is great for walking the dog with a figure 8 around the snout, but is not long enough for the waist loop. You need the 6 foot lead for that. I have both and love them.
