Needed something for older hands with arthritis. The flat nylon leads were hard to shorten and hold. This lead just fits the bill for me.

i own a young rescue girl, approximately 3 years old. she's been through two owners plus the rescue kennel and shows some signs of abuse. the vet could not define with definite certainty the exact nature of abuse. she has adapted marvelously and this lead allows close proximity for training yet allows her some freedom to opt for obedience or correction....nothing forceful, just keeps her in check. great lead for training, walking, and restraining from bolting....getchu one !

I bought the black Mendota leash for one of my dogs and I'm impressed! This leash is soft and easy on the hands, and also feels very quality. It is THE BEST leash I've ever used. Perhaps if you used it in the heavy brush and briars some of the thread loops would pull out, but I have only used mine for normal stuff and kept out of the briar patches. So far it looks great! I want to get a matching one for my other dog. The look that the leather adds to the leash is really cool. I just love using this leash!

Well made rope leash. I like the size for comfortable handling and good grip. Also like the color option because I have a problem remembering to pick it up after taking it off the dog ... color helps me remember and find it.

I will never go back to flat nylon leashes. My coonhound pulls really hard, and the flat leashes really hurt your hands. This rope leash has helped considerably. The hunter green looks great and the leather trim of the leash handle matched the leather mahogany collar well.

I love this short leash when I'm in closed quarters with my dog. She's powerhouse strong and instead of a long leash in closed quarters. This is what I use with my service dog.
