Wonderful craftsmanship on this collar. I love the color and the texture. It looks great on my Brittany. The only thing I’d like to comment on negatively is that i think they need more sizes or rather smaller options for this exact collar. The collar fits my dog fine but it still feels a bit big on her in terms of its thickness and weight.

I got the two collars today. 3835-LT-17NS K9K Deluxe LEATHER -- STANDARD -- 1-inch Collar $22.99 They were half the price of other collars I had looked up. I have a Beagle and a Walker Treeing Coonhound. We do not hunt but they are hunting breeds. Not pure bred by any means, just regular hounds. Anyway. The collars arrived and I was surprised at how nice they were. All the brass hardware was high quality and heavy duty as well as the double layered leather belt with the nice stitching. I have always bought my personal belts (Brass nameplate bridle belts) from a Leather Horse Supply vendor in the next city over and they have always been the highest of quality. For a dog collar of the belt quality they wanted 60 bucks. I think that is a ridiculous price for a dog collar, even if it does have a brass nameplate. So, I gave GunDogSupply a chance! Great quality and nice collar for the price! NOT a flimsy cheap single layer collar! I didn't go wrong and others won't go wrong either.

These collars are the best! Not only do they look sophisticated, but you don’t hear any jingling from the dog tags! We used to replace dog tags and cheaply made collars constantly. We will never have to with these collars and name plates!

Great collar with id plate riveted on

This is the second collar I’ve purchased from GDS. My dog outgrew the first,and I was so pleased with it,I replaced it with a larger size. The leather is of good quality and the collar is nicely finished and detailed. I always look for brass hardware,and the id plate is a great feature.

So far so good only had it 3 weeks but looks good especially the color it looks good on a chocolate Lab.

This is the second one of these we have bought over the last 20 years for our dogs. This one is for our 6 year old Irish Setter who wore the previous Irish Setter’s collar until it was almost worn out. These collars look good, have a brass name plate (we put our name, phone # and address on the plate)and are obviously very durable. We live in a rural area, so our dogs spend a lot of time outside. Very happy with these beautiful leather collars

I bought this collar for my dog 7 years ago and my only gripe is that the collar has held up so beautifully that I had no justification to buy a new one except that we changed addresses. He only hunts about 10 days a year, but it holds up very well to getting wet. Very well made and stylish. If you want a collar that will last for 2 dog lifetimes, get this one. I have purchased these collars in the past for our dogs so when I just rescued 2 bonded brother labs I knew where I was getting their collars. As expected, they were exceptional and I couldn't be more pleased. No more tags hanging that can get caught in heat registers, with the name tag engraved & then stamped in the collar you can't ask for anything safer. I had my son order from here and every other person I know that has a dog. Best collar around and they stand by their products. To me, its a win, win!

This collar is well made, great to look at, and will stand the test of time. I purchased two of these collars over 10 years ago for my previous dogs. My new dog needed a different size, otherwise I would still be able to use one of the old collars as they have both aged very well and are still in great shape!

It's a really good collar for Lena. She can go through collars in a flash and this one still looks new. Just three problems, one of which is my own making. The leather is stiff and doesn't hang right on her neck. Also the name plate isn't centered, it's off on the side of her neck. I suppose I should have specified where I wanted it. Also double check your spelling before you send it in. That was totally my fault. But it's holding up and it fits perfectly, that's the important thing!

Love the color, it is really smooth to put on and the materials seem like they are a good quality my dog loves his collar. I've had trouble with him trying to take others off but he seems to find this one really comfortable, really love the name tag that came with it. Saves all the noise out of regular name plates. Great product and great company received the collar really fast, they gave me no problems A+++.
