I’ve used one of these collars and tags for each of my dogs for over 20 years including a full service patrol dog. They hold up, look good and are easy to hook into and out of with a leash. I won’t ever use anything else.

This is the second collar we've ordered through Gun Dog Supply. As in the past, we were not disappointed. Heavy leather, nice brass ring, and very legible engraving on the brass tag. Our dog and we love the collar. Keep up the great work!

the collar is beautifully made and I appreciate your tracking it down when it was lost in transit. I ordered the small size for my Brittany which Im sure you know is a small dog. The only issue I have is the width of collar is too wide for a small dog. It looks out of proportion for the size of the dog. To my eye it could be a quarter of an inch narrower. Thank you

Collar is true to size, but leather does not seem the same quality as the ones I purchased previously.

Exceptional quality and durability. This is the 5th collar I’ve bought from Gun Dog Supply for all my family’s dogs and also as gifts for friends with new pups. They look so much more expensive than they are and remain in perfect condition after years of wear through mud, sand, snow and ocean swims. I’ve also had their leather leash for 10 years now and it’s holding up great. Can’t recommend enough!!

I would not bother this collar for a setter. Make sure you carefully measure the neck size as the smallest one is still too large for most dogs.

I love these collars and all 7 of our Dobermans wear them! We have the property fenced but on occasion one or more of the dogs have escaped. The engraved name plate has ensured a safe return from kind strangers. The leather is an absolute requirement for country living, in my opinion. As an example — one dog recently got her collar hung on something in the area and rather than a possible strangulation event, the collar eventually broke and released her, leaving scrapes and missing hair but her alive and safe. And finally, the center ring is not only so convenient as an additional attachment site, but also handy for a quick grab ring to get a hold of when the dog flies by! Definitely a must for all dogs — pets and breeding stock as well as working dogs.

What sold me on this collar was the company itself. The quality is fantastic. Our corgi had a previous leather collar, but this was surpassed it by look and feel. I also like the engraving on the tag. The convenient loop is something I didn't think I would use, but do. I only would add an additional leather loop to thread the excess length of leftover collar flap. But, otherwise I wouldn't change a thing. Great company, thank you.

This is the best collar for our large male Chessie, the ring in the middle of the collar allows for immediate control of this guy. It's my second time purchasing this collar, the first one lasted about 2 years. Our Chessies love to swim and the collar withstood constant swimming and winter snow, Nice to have a new one!

This is a great caller for a working dog or just a pet. I got it for my Weimaraner mix because the plastic ones were irritating his neck. He also rough houses a lot with his brother so I needed something sturdy. This caller definitely delivered in all areas. It looks great, it's very sturdy, and I love having the plate riveted on by the factory so that I don't have to mess it up. Great product all around and very quick delivery. High quality dog collar, sizing chart was accurate. Fits my Brittany very well. The brass is really nice, havent had any troubles with it so far. I had to adjust the collar down a notch once it was broke in a bit but that speaks more to the quality and thickness of the leather. If I ever need another collar I will be buying this one again.

This is my second leather collar for Henry and they are great no spinning, tangling and easy to clean with saddle soap or leather cleaner. Love the quiet collar, no tags clanking on his bowls.

The collar is well constructed. The only problem is the collar is a bit too massive for a smaller dog. Our dog is a Beagle - the collar just seems too big for him.
