I've always been happy with my purchases from Gun Dog Supply. The price for this item and the matching blackout collar is really good for such a high quality item. This will last for many years. It's thick and strong but not stuff, all the details are made with high quality craftsmanship including the stitching and hardware. The hardware is black and really strong. I like that it comes in a shorter length because that's what I prefer for walking my Great Dane (who's known to suddenly take off for a squirrel) so she can't get a lot of length to pull away. It doesn't stretch or fray.

I have come to the conclusion that I'm not going to buy dog products from any other company! Your products are so well-made, extra attention to detail, and they're fairly priced. I needed a short lead, because my dog had chewed through so many leashes! I use a pinch collar and a split leash for when we walk because he's very strong and he pulls. I just needed a short lead and this fit the bill perfectly. Very well-made very good price-I will go nowhere else for dog products.

I liked my Omnipet snap lead right away. I depend on a good leash when out with my Field Golden Retriever. His strength demands I use a trustworthy leash. I love this leash! The leather broken in nicely (* I soaked it in Neets foot oil for 24 hrs and it makes it butter soft). The extra ring is useful when I need to make this leash a slip lead.

Snap lead

I got the 6ft snap lead because it’s longer and my Josie is a big girl. Want to give her space. She goes with me on trips to visit grandkids so we make stops sometimes along the way. I can also use it to fasten her in the seatbelt or use as a chock collar if needed. Plus use the extra ring to fasten her up if needed. I love the leather lead and it matches her collar.

Really nice, sturdy leather lead. No worries about knots that can be a problem with leashes made of nylon webbing. Can be snapped around your shoulder with the ring in the loop of the collar. Can be used as a choke collar with the other ring on the lead itself. Likely to last a very, very long time.

I ordered the Omnipet Snap Lead on the recommendation of a breeder. The lead came promptly and just as I ordered. I found the lead to be much easier on my damaged hands than the fabric/polyester type leads. I immediately ordered a second lead for my older dog. It came promptly and I am more than satisfied with the quality of the leads.

I wasn't too sure about ordering a 2' leash but decided to give it a try. And it was perfect -- till "Ollie" decided to chew it during our drive into town! He chewed through about half of it. My fault for leaving it attached to his collar. I like the leash so much, I've ordered another. It is great for keeping the pup close while training or walking. And it matches his collar.

I like this short lead and it works well for my purposes. It is sturdy and seems well made. The only negative, and reason for 4 stars, is I wish the leather were more supple because it is very stiff and will take a long while to "break in".
