I looked everywhere for a collar to fit my big gal. Her old collar had rubbed her neck almost raw and it was an extra large. I came across Snells Dog Supply and saw that they had collars for dogs large enough to fit my retriever at a reasonable price and it came engraved too.I decided to give them a try. I am very pleased with it and so is my dog. When I need another one I will know where to buy!

I have used these collars for years. They are very tough and wear very well. They don't tear, snag or fray. They clean up with simple soap and water. The name plate add a layer of protection in case I get separated from my dogs. And for all this the price is very reasonable.

This is my second biothane collar. The first one lasted five years without ever developing the permastink that nylon collars get when you have a water dog. Gundog’s design is perfect, and the nameplate is both sturdy and attractive. (Also error free!) My only gripe is that the free end of the collar is a little short when it’s buckled, so it interferes a bit with the ring used to attach the leash. I’d give yourself a couple extra inches when you measure the neck to compensate unless you use a slip chain or harness for leash walks.

I hunt with three Labs, often guiding hunters of unknown ability and safety at my bird hunting club. Each of my dogs wears a large, different color collar to help them stand out in the field and to add a degree of safety. The Big Dawg collars also match the colors on my e-collar transmitter, helping me to quickly identify who might be eligible for an electronic reminder. The Big Dawg collar is large so as to be noticeable, and is basically indestructible. Good value for the $.

This collar blew my expectations. Collar feels great and doesn't seem too be like those other cheap rubber ones. There is just something special about it, as well as the included tag that they let you custom engrave helped me convince my wife too get it done. 10/10 would buy again if I ever have too.

I love how this collar can go through anything. Millie has it on her all day everyday, and I love knowing my name and number are on her collar if she gets out. The collar doesn’t bother her at all, and she gets excited when I put it on!

This is a great collar. My dogs however are in between sizes. This isn’t their fault but I’d like just 1 more buckle hole. Good thing this has happened a couple of times so we have a leather hole puncher that works great. I always use gun dog supply. You should watch Steve’s videos. He gives great reviews of the products he personally uses.

This collar cleans up easily, and you can request as many brass plates as you need to display important information. My dog is white, and her old tags left dark staining in her fur where they constantly rubbed. I had vital information such as microchip number, phone numbers, and identification all placed on the brass plates and fixed to the collar. Now she is stylish and stealthy!

I've been using these collars for years. They're durable, easy to attach a lead to, and the color stays vibrant for years. I especially like the engraved name plate. By putting the dogs name, my contact information and I always include a "reward" line - I have more confidence of keeping my dogs safe.

This dog collar not only looks great, but it is sturdy and well made to last a long time. These collars also clean up with soap and warm water to look brand new.
I don’t know how many dog collars that we have purchased for our dogs over the last 10 or 11 years, but we have yet to be disappointed. Large dogs, smaller dogs, working dogs, a guard dog, and pitbulls. Every collar has survived and held up. The only time that we replaced them was when the dogs outgrew the collar or we simply wanted a different color!

I bought this to replace the same collar I bought a year ago which I cut too short (inexperienced user error). The name plate fits 4 lines of info (name, address, city, phone). The material and buckle are of excellent quality.
I really like the double rivet on the buckle. It might be overkill but it makes me feel more comfortable that the collar will do its job for longer than the many years my dog will be with me.
For size reference, I bought the smallest collar for my 36lb Boykin. Fits perfectly.

I cannot say enough about these collars. I got them for both my hunting dog and our family lounging dog who likes to roll in the mud. They are more than worth the money to avoid the stinky collar. Also, the fixed name plate means I don’t have to take their collars off at night to keep them from making lots of noise when they move around. Absolute win.
