This is our second K-9 Komfort quick release collar for Meatball. Unfortunately the buckle on the first one broke. It is perfect for him as he has very thick neck fur and little patience for taking the collar on and off. The leather is perfect and well crafted and just gets better as time goes on. The leather on the first collar aged into a gorgeous soft leather which I imagine was very comfortable for him. I have tried other collars that were just not as good. The thickness of this leather is perfect for this size dog as opposed to the comfort leather which was too thick for him. I love this collar so much and always recommend that people buy from this great business. Excellent products, quick turnaround and fantastic service.

I love that they have a quick release option in leather. It looks great, and the name plate is also great so that tags can’t fall or be pulled off. The 3/4” is perfect for a medium size (40 lb) dog

The quality is great, and I love the nametag right on the collar. Unfortunately, my female Brittany has lost it in the yard several times, and now the male just lost his in the yard. They are pretty active dogs, but our other collars with quick release (in ground fence) have never come off. If I can find them in the yard, I'll see if there is some way to make the quick release a little harder to release.

Great collar. The only one I’ve bought that actually fits his weird neck well. His a blue tick coonhound so he has a wider neck at the bottom and it gets skinnier so it’s been hard finding a good fit. This collar is it!

High-quality leather, with solid brass clips. I punched a couple of extra holes to allow for more precise adjustment, but otherwise, this collar is going to stand the test of time - and my dog!

This is the first collar that my dog doesn’t hate! He normal scratches and whines when he has a collar on, but not with this one. It’s beautifully made and we love that the tag is riveted to the collar, so there is no jingling when he walks or runs. Will definitely purchase again when needed

This is the 6th color I have ordered! I have 3 dogs. And when we moved, I decided to get new collars with the updated address. The quality is top of the line. And the price is rock bottom for such great quality collars. The leather is BEAUTIFUL already, and adding a name plate just makes it even better. The collar will not stay connected when its on the last adjustment pre punched hole. We will be sending it back.

I have underground fence, so there is a lot of swapping collars when our dogs come in the house or we take them off of our property. The quick release collar makes the frequent on/off easy. We liked it so well that we’ve purchased a second.

This collar worked perfectly for my Brittany. The fit was just right, the collar was made of quality materials and the identity tag was able to have all of my information engraved on it. The quick release clasp works great as well.

The collar is great! However, the name tag (which I appreciate very much) rivet came apart as I believe this collar is very thick, perhaps too thick for the rivet used. I used my own larger rivets to remedy the problem +although my rivets aren't gold). Having said that, the collar is very good... great! It should last forever!!!

Collar is perfect for my Vizsla. I actually think she runs faster and jumps higher from the new collar, not really. But this is a great looking collar if you're in the market.

The collar looks great on my weimaraner, Zeppelin. I love the look of leather, but wanted a quick release for safety reasons, and this collar fits the bill perfectly. I have already received a number of complements on the collar and would recommend it to anyone!

Looks great. Great quality. The only change I would make would be to move the D-ring a little farther from the quick release. When my dog shakes her head the D-ring hits the quick release, which is a little noisy. Not bad during the day, but it bothers a light sleeper at night.

Very pleased with this collar. It looks very sharp. The metal clip works great, but funny looking-cheapish. But for the price, I am very satisfied. Maybe they should offer a more expensive version with a real brass clip, as this collar looks like it will last a very long time. Btw, the clip tends to hang low under the chin, so you don't really see it when the dog is wearing it.

Excellent quality! Pacer (my 7-month old Vizsla) has already destroyed 3 collars during our trail runs. This collar is light enough to allow him to not notice it's there, yet sturdy enough to look brand new after the 30+ miles of trail we've run in the 2-weeks we've had it!! The name plate looks great. I will be buying this collar again and again (if I need to!).

Excellent quality leather and very beautiful looking collar, but with some major cons. It only adjusts a full inch and a half either way, not giving my dog the best fit, which isn't a big deal. I can modify the collar myself to fit him better. The biggest issue I have is how the brass tag is staining my dogs fur black. This doesn't work for a show dog.

Top notch craftsmanship and quality. Dogs are in danger of choking if anything on the collar, especially those tags dangling from "S Hooks", can get hung up on something like a fence when you're not around. The conventional buckle and tongue on classic collars is as bad as the tags. This type of quick release collar, in conjunction with the rivet on tags, is the safest possible collar for your beloved canine friends.

We searched for the perfect collar for our precious family member who just turned one. And when we received it, I was truly impressed by the quality. No corners were cut here, and it's a beautiful, solid piece in the most royal shade of leather. Our baby only deserves the best, and we'll definitely be ordering more for her from Steve.

On the up side, great collar, quick and easy off and on. On the down side, brass plating wore off the D ring very quickly. If I had known the hardware was not all solid brass I would have made another choice.

The collar looks great, and it has our names and phone numbers on it. Fulfills our needs and looks really sharp at the same time.

I truly love it! It is extremely easy to put on/take of, much easier than with the older collars I had where the release latch was plastic. There are also two positions to adjust the length, and overall the collar is true to size, so follow the instructions and measure your dog's neck carefully. The leather and the handcrafting are top quality, and I could not be happier with it. The natural tendency for the collar (at least on my dog) is for the release to end up at bottom (sort of on the throat), which means the ID goes on the side. Looks very nice. The hook for extra tags is very thick and it was nice that it didn't get scratched when I put the rabies tag on it (as cheaper collars do). Overall, I am EXTREMELY happy. Worth every penny.
