Bought this collar because my dogs keep chewing their “hanging” tags. Perfect alternative.

I was told of the company by a friend maybe ten years ago and I’ve used them ever since. Great quality products. I typically order the standard buckle collar. We’ve had many dogs so I’ve order multiple times even though they last for a long time! Plus sometimes they need updating. This time I figured this one would be easier for me to bathe the Labrador (easy on easy off) I like the look a lot! The name tag with the OWNERS name is super smart to me and shows the company is helpful and uses common sense, I appreciate that quality!!! The metal plate isn’t an extra add on cost, it’s just wrapped up all together which I prefer! All in all, great quality product!

Had to make some extra holes to pull up the slack on this collar for Tigg. So tough my knife could barely cut it, had to use a hand drill bit to make the holes. I’d say it’ll last a long time, the previous reflective collar from another maker off Amazon lasted maybe a year and it was barely together. Plate was almost wore off. We’ll see how long this one lasts on the lil guy.

Got this for my 8 month old Golden. Looks great and is very well made. It was a little big but we just made another hole to shorten it up a little more. The snap on it is really heavy duty and easy to use.

Both I and my dog Blue love his new collar! Now he has the name plate right on his collar and not a tag that can fall off! Makes me feel better when he runs off to chase the raccoons!

I love the craftsmanship of these leather collars. They are high quality. They fit well and are easily adjustable if you need a better fit. I really love them...and my dog looks good wearing it.

This collar is my second from gundog supply. Honestly I would still be on the first but I nice and needed a different plate so decided to upgrade to the quick release and love it. My first collar seen some rough times with all the different types of water and shenanigans my dog put through and it didn't change other then a little wear and tear on the leather. Highly recommend these collars.

Have had this product for a few weeks and I am disappointed in the quality. The metal buckle and other hardware seems very thin and appears cheap. The coating on the leather (maybe this is what give it its color?) is already peeling away around the edges. The buckle does seem secure. I would not purchase again.

I'm sorry to say this was not what we expected and not as advertised. We got the quick release leather collar with brass nameplate. The black painted leather that borders the color was flaking off when it arrived and flaked worse the moment you flex it, it seemed poorly made and stiff, and the male end of the buckle broke within two days time, it fell right off the collar onto the ground. The company was very easy to deal with, fast and friendly, and gave us a full refund, however I wish the leather was better and the piece was functional. We've had several leather collars and leashes in the past and they arrive soft, well made, flex well, and don't flake. They wear over time like all leather but in a rich, high quality way. This seemed stiff and cheap. Sorry. We wanted to like it and based on the images online and the price we expected something different.

I left a 5-star review for these collars when purchased 2 years ago (they were gorgeous, had high quality hardware, and were delivered fast, even with the custom name plate). At the time, I did wonder how they’d hold up, so here’s an update. For starters, my dogs (German shorthaired pointers) give leather a beating. They dig in clay mud, they bite each other’s heads and collars, and they drag each other around by them. These collars are holding up — but, full disclosure, I periodically (about every 6 mos or after they get wet) treat these collars with a leather conditioning product designed for horse tack, which obviously has affected their appearance and performance in ways that I am happy with but that may not be desirable for everyone ( horse tack conditioner is heavier and greasier than what you’d use on leather purses or furniture). With the leather treatments, these collars have aged beautifully, having darkened and become very supple. The quick-release buckles still hold securely, and the release mechanisms still release easily despite the share of grit they’ve ingested over the years. The buckle heads are heavily scratched, and most of the bright gold color is worn off, but they still look good (whatever they’re made of still shines and shows no corrosion). Nameplates still attached securely and fully legible. These collars have far exceeded my expectations, particularly for the price.

I love this collar. I love leather because of its high-quality look as well as the quality its string leather and durable. I love how it came with a free nameplate on it! It's just an added bonus! lastly, I love that it has the quick release buckle so its quick and easy to put on and take off. Also, it was delivered a couple of days after I ordered it. Extremely fast delivery and great customer service. Any questions and customer service is quick to respond through email which is my best method of communication. Overall 10 out of 10 product! Highly recommend!

This is 4th collar in 3 years. Grew out of 2 early. Didn't need a new one, but the water and wear after a year took its toll on the old one. Well worth the money! I love she doesn't jingle everywhere she goes.

I love this collar! It is nice quality leather and gold. Engraving was done really good. Looks great on my dog. I see it lasting quite a long time - many years! Well worth it, I'm glad I shopped around and found this.

Overall love this product. Very good quality. Quick release works fantastic. Only had product for a couple weeks so can't really comment on durability quite yet but I think it's going to last for years. Only thing I would recommend is possibly having a few more sizes. I had to make an additional punch hole but I didn't have any problems doing that myself. Great product and I'll certainly be a repeat customer.

Ordered the K-9 Komfort Quick-Release leather collar on a Thursday and received it the following Monday with personalized brass plate and everything. This collar looks great! I thought it looked good on the website, but I like it even better in person. Beauty, my 2 year-old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, seems to really like it too. The only thing I didn't care for about this collar was the size adjusting system. It was totally secure, but I thought it added bulk to an already heavy/stiff collar (compared to nylon). For this reason, I also ordered a set of extra-long brass rivets from the Gun Dog Supply website. I simply removed the collar adjustor, punched a new hole for the proper length, set the rivet in place, and gave it a good smack with a hammer. One more hole/rivet to make sure everything was secure and PRESTO...instant custom length quick-release collar! Personally, I've always thought Beauty would look perfect on the cover of any hunting magazine. But now with her new collar, she looks even better! This was a good buy! Dave G.

This is a great collar. Quick release leather collars are hard to find. I like them because they don't smell and need to be washed. I love the construction and color of the leather. It looks great on my dog. Name tag on the collar is so convenient and quiet! So glad that I found your website.

Looks great. Great quality. The only change I would make would be to move the D-ring a little farther from the quick release. When my dog shakes her head the D-ring hits the quick release, which is a little noisy. Not bad during the day, but it bothers a light sleeper at night.

Very useful, stylish, well made - feels and looks high quality, reasonably priced. I have 3 happy and very playful full size dobermans, and the collars look great and are durable. I've found their customer service to be great also.

I own a 2 year old female Rhodesian Ridgeback, named Pre that is 110 lbs of solid muscle and youthful exuberance. I was looking for a quality leather collar with brass hardware that was also a quick release, so that I could swap it out easily with a couple other collars that I use in the field. I use this collar when I walk Pre around town and in the house. It is exceptionally well made and the brass and rich brown leather give it a utilitarian sophistication that enhances Pre's appearance. It's great looking and well made. I give it 5 stars!
