Hound Heater Classic

These heaters were a life saver during the recent unusually cold weather in central MS. Our girls were snug as bugs in their houses. They were easy to install. We've had no problems thus far.

Hound Heater Classic with Thermo Cube

I installed three of these in 3 dog houses and they are working fine so far. I had a problem with one termo cube that was misconstructed. It would not plug into a standard 3-prong outlet. Gun Dog Supply promply sent a replacement, all before freezing weather set in.

Not as hot as I had hoped but it definitely keeps my GSP from freezing outside. Very strong material, which keeps my destructive pooch from breaking it. I put the cord in a metal pipe so my dog doesn't get to it. I would recommend it to anyone with outside dogs, who wants a simple but good warm heater.

We are taking care of two feral cats and worry about them when the temps drop in Indiana. This heater is great! When they aren't inside keeping warm they are sitting on top of the house still feeling the heat!

The Hound Heater Classic works perfectly in our 8 cubic foot cat house. It is plugged into a thermostatically controlled receptacle which turns the heater on at 35 degrees and off at 45 degrees. It takes enough of the chill off that the room remains comfortable. In the past 24 hours, the kitty has spent 17 hours in the cat house keeping warm. I would recommend the Classic over the Deluxe heater if your space is 16 cubic feet or less.

Great product. My guy tears everything apart and he likes to be warm. Was -15 deg F outside 55 deg F inside the dog house. And he didn't tear it apart!

I have 3 heaters. All work well. My 3 doghouses are insulated with a front plastic door and a boxed in entrance. I recommend these heaters only for maximum of 16 cubic feet.

This little heater seems to work fairly well - easy to install. It was perhaps a little small for my doghouse but seems to be providing enough heat similar to installing a medium watt light bulb inside of the house.

The Hound Heater Classic heater is doing a great job of keeping my dog comfortable. The temperatures the last few nights have been really cold but her house is comfortably warm. I don't have to worry about her being cold nor do I have to worry about my doghouse catching fire.
