Best collar ever. I've been using the cheapo $3 plastic or "sun glow" collars from a local source, but this is much more comfortable for the dog, just as maintenance free, waaaaay stronger, & it looks better. After it becomes filthy with marsh, mud, or dirt, a quick wash in the sink for 30 seconds using just my finger & some water makes this collar look brand new. The only way I think it could be improved would be if it was offered in various camo patterns & if you had a choice of non-reflective hardware for duck hunting.

We got 2 of these collars for our labs. They love to play fight and were tearing up their webbed collars. These are great! They are very tough and easy to clean. We love the bright orange color, but wish there were more girly color options. We were most excited about the name plate being on the collar. We get tired of the constant jingling noise made by a name tag and a rabies tag banging together. Unfortunately, the D-end on this collar is too close to the buckle, and they jingle! Also, the D is a little small, making it hard to get your fingers under to hook a leash. All in all, we like the collars. The name plate looks nice, and the dogs seem comfortable. The orange looks great on our Chocolate! We will keep these collars for backup and likely order other styles of the TufFlex. And thanks to Gun Dog Supply for quick shipping!

I really like it, and my dog Chico does too. I'm waiting for spring because that is when he starts swimming and develop skin problems, because the other collar didn't dry fast.

Could not have asked for a better collar!! Very well constructed. Soft, flexible; and love the orange color. Really stands out on Rusty's white coat. The ID tag is a great touch and much nicer than a hanging tag that is constantly clanking as the dog moves around the house. Would definitely recommend this for those who want a great alternative to leather.

This seems to be a very good collar for my standard poodle. She is just 2 years old. She was able to break the clasp on the last collar, but it seems that she is doing very well with this one. I like the brass nameplate. The black collar looks very nice with her apricot color. I would highly recommend it.

This is a great collar. Lily has been a collar buster since we got her, and not only does this collar fit her perfectly, she hasn't been able to break it! I do wish the D ring were a little further from the buckle, so it's easier to clip the lead, but it's worth the piece of mind that she won't break the collar.

This is a fantastic collar. I am guessing this will be the only one my dog owns. I recently ordered one for my friend who is a veterinarian, because he liked my dog's collar. He now loves his dog's new collar and remarked how fast the order came to his house.

My dogs are constantly on the go, running through the woods, swimming in our pond, and getting into the mud. This is the first collar I have found that can withstand these conditions.

Over the years I've tried all types of collar materials. This is the only one I like. Plastic ones wear out eventually and must be thrown away if they roll in a dead skunk or similar, because the odor molecules seem to absorb into the plastic. The TufFlex collars don't absorb odors like plastic, don't absorb moisture like leather, don't stretch much like leather, don't stiffen much in the cold, and don't crack. I'm particular about most things, and this is one of the few products I have no suggestions for improvement.

My dog has been wearing this collar for over a year. Despite daily swimming, frequent rolling in mud (followed by washing), being taken off and put back on at least four times per day, used for a trolley tie out as many times per day and being used to restrain a lunging 80 pound dog at sporting events, it still looks, smells and fits like a brand new collar. The collar is soft and pliable, yet strong (very, very strong). The hardware is top notch. It's a darn good looking collar at any price, but $9.95 is just an incredible bargain. The collar will probably never stink, stretch, fade or otherwise wear out. It also does not break my dog's hair or aggravate his allergies. We went through a lot of very expensive collars before this one. It put them all to shame. Like everything I have purchased from Gun Dog Supply, this collar exceeded my expectations.
