This collar is comfortable for my dog, flexible yet strong. I like the simple style and the name plate comes with it that is secured well. The package got lost as I ordered around the holidays. When I contacted Gun Dog Supply they immediately sent another collar. I ended up with 2 collars as the previous one arrived several days following the re-sent one. Gun Dog kindly and quickly informed me I could keep both and declined payment I offered.

I don't often give a full 5 star review, but in this case I don't have the option to give the collar 4.9 stars :) It's a basic collar made of Biothane, with the excellent engraved tags that they include. I'm used to leather collars, and it did take some time to get used to how this collar fits my dog. Where the buckle end is riveted together, the double layer of Biothane is quite stiff. That section of the collar can't conform around the neck the same way leather would, but it works nonetheless. A 15" Biothane collar, on the 15" hole, is going to feel tighter on your dog's neck than a 15" leather collar on the 15" hole. Just something to be aware of, maybe size up one level if you have any doubt. Buy one!

This is the best collar I have ever had on one of my dogs. It gets wet everyday and doesn’t stay wet or change colors or smell like others do. Dutch gets so many compliments on his collar, daily.

Buy one for all of you dogs. They are the best collars you will find. My 15 year old Jack Russell has had three. Only because I wanted to change colors. My puppy just got her first one and I know it will last years. The quality is unbelievable for the price. And go ahead and make it easy for the person that finds your dog to get in touch with you fast.

Very pleased with this collar! It is substantial, durable, all the things. The price was reasonable, if not on the cheap end (price is cheap, not quality!) and the name plate is sleek with no dangling tags! Highly recommend.

We only use these collars from Gun Dog. They will last the lifetime of your dog. My dog fetches ducks in the mud and this collar holds up, no stains, no smell.
