A heavier version of the biothane collars I've used for years. The hardware is heavier as well. No issues. It does have a black stretchy retainer thingy that if you can get it over the end of the collar far enough is nice to keep the collar end from flapping around. The only issue I've ever had with biothane collars is that they retain enough moisture that they cause a fungus infection on the neck of one of our labs. So far that hasn't been a problem so maybe they've improved the material a bit.

Perfect fit for our black lab. Love the feel and the look of the collar. The piece to tuck the “tail” of the collar in is a nice feature to keep it from getting caught on anything in the field and keep her from chewing on it. Great collar.

Our Brittanies love to get in ponds, creeks and salt water. We loved our leather collars, but these biothene collars are much better for getting wet. Selection of colors is great to easily identify your dog from a distance too.

This is a repeat purchase of the same design collar. I just wanted a new color. They are very durable and last for a long time. My dogs go in the water a lot. With other materials of collars I’ve removed the collar to let it air dry. These I keep on and they are dry by the time my dogs are. If they get muddy they literally wipe clean. I also like the personalized brass information plate. I am very happy with my purchase.

Solid color, thick center ring, dogs name and phone number clear and punched deep to be legible. Very happy with the collar, I mistakenly purchased the same collar without the center ring before buying this one, good collar with laser nametag but prefer the center ring.

These collars are a great product. This is a replacement of the same collar after seven years. The first one lasted through hard upland hunting, waterfowl, and field training, and it was still serviceable when I decided to put a new one on my dog. During those seven years he was skunked twice, and the scent didn't stick to the collar - clean it and go. The ID plate and buckle stayed solid.

Good collars besides the black part to keep the extra collar in place. This part broke after a couple uses. Over all good color, sturdy and looks good

I have enjoyed this collar for all of our dogs. The name-plate is solid and very resilient. Easy to adjust for the best fit, and the improved O-ring holds the tag-end tight to the collar. Will order again once our newest pup matures.

I’ve bought several of these collars and they all are very well made and last a long time. They don’t cause any issues to their skin/fur despite heavy wear. I would recommend these to any owner who is looking for a long-term collar choice.

I looked all over town and nearby towns for a collar like this and couldn't find anything near it's quality or with the engraved tag. Not to mention the price, which I thought was surprisingly inexpensive.

This is the best collar ever. Easy to clean, doesn’t ever smell and I love having the name plate for quick identification. Hazel wears it swimming, on the beach and in the river and I just wipe it dry. I prefer the center ring for easy access and really appreciate all of the colors offered.

I have bought multipl Big dog, 1 inch center ring dog collars from garden dog supply for my German shorthair. The only reason I have bought so many is because my dog outgrows them not because I’ve ever had an issue with one. They are high quality collars, and I normally buy orange for hunting, but I tried out the royal blue one for when we are traveling and on vacation. It looks very good on him. Our 6 mo. old Irish water spaniel had slipped of his nylon woven collar and ate it. $5000.00 later he is back to eating food and running around. This Biothane collar has not slipped off and the other dog doesn't like to pull on it. So far this wonderfully strong collar is Guinness proof.

As described, lettering was spot on and the brass plate is malleable so it will bend to fit around the dog’s neck. Material seems tough and not difficult to wash off. We got the version with the O ring since once our dog was pinned by a stick ramming under her collar when she was playing in the woods. (hopefully this new collar will prevent that).

The collar arrived and one of the rivets was broken. I contacted the company and they said they would send out a replacement collar ASAP. They also said don’t worry about returning the broken one. I received the replacement collar in 4 days. This company has “old-fashioned” values and customer service. I will never use any other company and I can’t recommend them highly enough.
