This TT15 mini was just what was needed for a small Fiest Squirrel dog to carry comfortably. The folks at Gun Dog Supply were courteous and shipped quickly. Excellent experience overall with this order.

I ordered this collar on a Saturday evening, it was mailed first thing Monday. They have different color options for the collar, I got the color I want I wanted plus the one from the factory, and another one too.

I have both the original Alpha collar and this TT mini. They function the same, except I think the mini has a little less range. I use mine for bird dogs and labs, so neither is ever miles away. For me, the mini collar is superior because it weighs half as much, which is less cumbersome and less weight on the dog. I run both collars off my Alpha 200i handheld controller. I love the quality of all these systems. Honestly, they have way too much information for what I do, but you cannot beat the quality of the Garmin products. Kudos to Gun Dog Supply. I’ve never dealt with a more professional, efficient, knowledgeable company. I’ve been hunting with dogs 45 years, can think of no better place to purchase equipment for them. Fits great and she doesn’t seem to even notice it. She’s a 7 mo BF and the collar is on the third smallest setting. The full size TT15 wouldn’t fit her 12” neck. Didn’t realize you got two collars with the device. The red default and whatever color you choose at checkout. Nice bonus!

Works exactly as Steve describes in the video. Used this on a 5 month old 30# GSP and will transition to a 40# small framed GSP when the puppy outgrows this collar. I wish the GPS square was 2" further from the battery to get centered on the top of the dog. Unit must be designed for an extremely small dog. Unit is compact and not as bulky as the regular collars. I would like to see this unit made for a full size dog.

Blends right in on my Alpha 100 with my other collars while in the field. Consistent performance and much better GPS connection with the newest software updates. Easy to switch from dog to dog on the handheld controller. This all coming from a non-digital guy.

Works as it should,. Paperwork with collar said I had to update my alpha100 for collar to work....after update this collar worked but my other one didn't...had to reset hand held and reloaded both collars....so test your collar before heading out.

These TT-15 mini collars are great for my beagles. I know exactly where they are and what they are doing at all times. My four have different colors and can see them at making circles when in check. Very pleased with this product.

I will be glad to review the collar as soon as hunting season gets here. Have tried it out in the backyard and it works fine. It is much better on the dogs than the big TT 15's. They are kind of heavy.

The standard size TT15 collars were just too big for my 35 pound setters. The minis fit the bill perfectly. I charge my collars every night so the shorter batter life of 16 hours should not pose a problem.

I have yet to use this in the field. I hunt in large woods of New England where my dogs are out of site. I have used the TT15 for several seasons now and it is fantastic. My young setter has a small neck and the TT15 will not fit. The TT15 mini fits perfectly. All outward appearances show the same quality and rugged construction of the TT15. Preliminary use around my home was flawless as expected. I am looking forward to trialing this in the woods this july. A note: I am hard of hearing with differential loss rendering my directional awareness of sound inaccurate. As a result while I can hear a beeper collar if the dog is out of site I can't locate where the sound is. That is the reason I tried this system. For 8 years now I have run my dogs silent with no bell and no beeper collar and always know where they are and when on point. For the hard of hearing the Garmin system is unbeatable!!!

I own two of the garmin tt15's. They have been very awesome in tracking and training my rabbit dogs. I like that I can see the distance they traveled and the average speed. Definitely worth the money and gundog supply has been really great and responsive to anything I need for my hounds

I bought this as a second collar to work with my Garmin Pro 500 Plus system, so I thought I already knew the collar's capabilities and was comfortable using it. Before buying it, though, I had a conversation with one of the Gun Dog Supply staff about the pros/cons of adding a second TT15 Mini collar vs. investing in an entirely different training-focused system (handheld and 2 collars). He walked me through the options I was considering, corrected a couple of my assumptions about the other system, explained a few features on this collar that I hadn't previously used, and increased the fidelity of my information. I made a more informed decision and felt better about my investment.

The collars are awesome. The mini is small enough and fit well on my 13” beagles. I have them set up with a Garmin 200i. The system works great. Surprised how well they stay in place when they are in the brush. Great product so far

I have been using the Alpha 100 with the TT10 and TT15 mini collars for several years and have come to rely on them while hunting with my Red setter and Brittany. I recently acquired a new pup, another Red setter, and added another TT15 mini collar to my setup. The order went through quickly and the additional color strap I choose was simple to install. Setup was simple after I downloaded the new updates from Garmin on my Alpha 100 as suggested. All my collars have long battery life, and I have tested the range up to two miles with a strong signal. No worries about where the dogs are. Great peace of mind. Highly recommend using them. The TT15 mini is just right for my setters who are under 50 lbs. The TT10 is a little heavy and bigger. I originally used it on my English Pointer, now past.

The 550+ TT15 Mini is the best track/train collar on the market.

The Garmin TriTronic ecollar plus tracking are the best of the best. Easy to set up with the transmitter and easy to update on line.

I have a smaller GSP and the TT15 Mini fits perfectly

I like the size of the mini compared to the larger unit, battery life is not much different.

I run 2 Setters. Have the larger unit I use as a backup. Prefer the smaller size of the TT15 minis. The battery life is less but I have never had it run out on a hunt. Have forgotten to turn it off at home though! I angle it so the GSP receiver is on back of neck (slightly angled). Works great

It has worked great It linked right to my controller. My old collar was having a hard time after i hooked the new collar up did a update on it and the controller and is working fine now.

I love this product, but, I have had to send two of them back to tar in for the “blinking red light” which is a battery failure. One collar was 3 years old the other was 3 months. We will see how this one works out. I wanted to have a back up, now my back up is the only one. Waiting garmin to return the faulty ones.

I had to buy a replacement TT15 collar due to my last one being stolen, and it was very easy to put together and connect to my existing transmitter. This system is top notch for keeping tabs on our beagles and pointing dog. And easy for a woman just starting into using a GPS to use. Thanks!

Garmin makes one very nice Track and Train (TT) Collar. It pairs well with the hand held unit (Aloha in my case). The newest version is sleeker, thinner, lighter than the previous models and I’ve moved it to my female and gave the boys the older Collars. I love my Garmin Alpha!

I have 5 Gun dogs and hunt public land all over the US, i just would not feel comfortable without gps collars on them. Garmin makes a great product!

haven't used it yet because handheld unit battery ( which I had purchased earlier and elsewhere} went bad and I am waiting for Garmin to replace it but the service for buying the second collar was fine!

This setup has been a game changer in the hunting dog world. I understand there is now a newer version that is out with a brighter screen, which would be nice to have. But, I do great with this one. It’s so great for a young dog you are needing to help stay on the trail. He’s already layed a track you can see and then he came back? Then, put him back on it where he quit and he will go again. That’s just one thing that is awesome about this product. Not to mention the shocking collar and track collar combined in 1 so you don’t have so many collars. A little pricey, but if you are serious about making a dog reach his full potential, I recommend this product.

I recently replaced my Garmin Alpha+ TT15 with the Alpha/Pro 550+ TT15 Mini after several years of use. I have not used this device outside of a training environment yet, but, from the time I have used it training, it seems to be a lot more user friendly and easy to set up.. It also allows me to concentrate more on the dog and hunting/training as opposed to navigating the multiple screens of my other unit. After some time in the woods this upcoming season with it, I will re-review it, but I am more than confident that I will be overly satisfied.

4th TT15 mini bought. Tough collar. Very easy to pair

I like these collars because I have two dogs with small necks. The smaller collars allow me to keep up with and correct them.

The smaller size is good for my Beagles.

Purchased a TT-15 Mini two seasons ago. Had problems with it (shifting into shock mode on its own); Garmin advised master resets which seemed to reduce the frequency of the issue but the pup at that time took some nasty jolts. Added second beagle pup this year and added second TT-15 Mini. Updated the Alpha's s/w per instructions and found new collar; Alpha working great. However, when working the dogs together I found the old original collar had died locking in a GPS location about 8 miles from my local area and would not acquire a GPS link. After doing all the Garmin fault corrections (unsuccessfully) replaced that one with the most recent TT-15 Mini purchase. Two years ago I was so-so about the product line but the new collars are working fine and have no issues with the Alpha since the s/w updates. The jury is still out until the end of this year's small game season but I'm certainly more satisfied now than I was two years ago. At this juncture, I've elevated my evaluation from a 2.0 to a 4.0 and would recommend the Alpha 100/TT-15 Mini combination for the trail by anyone with beagles. I only use tone (recall & sit) or vibrate (to precede recall) if necessary. Shock is not selected for either dog.

Asked on social media the difference between the mini and regular collars, told there was no difference other than size. Well, the sizes are different. I do own bigger beagles, so I ordered a six dog alpha with bigger collars and they barely fit, but one dog (as she is smaller) it wouldn't fit. So if you're running smaller dogs I'd get the minis. I wish all mine were minis.

Nice fitting collar. I wasn't sure how my 11 month old Beagle would act with the antennae on it, but she is unfazed after 1-2 uses. She's only about 17 pounds but she handles it fine. I shocked her from 320 yards away to get her back to the cabin and it worked great. I would recommend this set-up along with my Alpha 100. A little pricey, but worth it.

I love the collar. I initially bought the larger TT15 but it did not fit well. Steve offered to exchange it for the TT15 mini!! The only complaint I do have is the battery life is not the greatest. It is good..not great. It is much better with the full size TT15.

It seems to work as well as my TT15's. The range is the same, I do not notice any difference.
