The orginal reciever lasted 13 months, the warranty is for 12 months. I had the Tri Tronics Sport 60 for 22 years and could no longer obtain a battery pack for the reciever. Let's just say Garmin's quality doesn't match the old Tri Tronics brand.

These are great collars. We have one which is several years old and prefer it above other brands we have owned. Got a new dog and needed to add to our existing Sport Pro. It was very easy to do.

I like these collars. As i have three , makes it easy to train puppies and even older dogs. We adopt older german shepherds alot here. And just the tone is usually enough to get their attention. I highly recommend these training collars

I have purchased two of the Garmin Sport Pro receiver units over the past five years as replacements for my original one (3 total). Both the original and first replacement unit ended up developing a leak around the power/control button. the first was around the edge of button and the second was from a worn hole in the rubber button itself. I'd love to continue to use and recommend this unit to my hunting buddies with retrievers but ... I'm giving it one more try. If it develops the same problem, I'm going a different path for my e-collars.

great addition to the lineup, i train with a fast pace group, the third collar with one transmitter helps to make a quick transition from one dog to another.

I needed a second collar for my Garmin Sport Pro for close range work at home. I have two Jagdterriers and they can get really rambunctious. I finally decided to get a second one so I could work both dogs at once. It synchs easily to the transmitter as long as you have the accurate set of instructions. I've seen bad instructions out there. The range is only around 3/4 mile on flat ground so it might not be adequate under some hunting conditions. I use my Sport Pro only for obedience and close range work so it works fine in that capacity. The PT10 has vibrate, tone, and night light and they all work fine. I use a Garmin TT15 Mini with Alpha100 handheld for actual hunting but the PT10 / Sport Pro works fine for shorter ranges. PT10 is small enough that it works well with my 18-22 pound dogs.

I purchased the Pro 550 a year ago. At the time of purchase I had three dogs and bought the black red blue collars. Had all three paired and working flawlessly in less than a minute. My sons guide and used these collars 3-5 days a week. Since last year, we have added three more dogs so I bought the orange yellow green collars . The color coded remote makes it easy to switch between dogs. Again, the new collars paired without a problem. I ordered mine, regular delivery and received the collars in 5-7 days. the collar has been great to use can run all three dogs now each have their own collar and works super. the dogs even get excited to go roe a run when they see the collars come out. they all work on beep tone now don't have to use anything else on them now. makes it a pleasure to go run the dogs.

I've been fortunate to have bird-hunted for nearly 50 years and to have used Tritronics/Garmin electronic collars for over twenty years. I recently purchased an extra PT10 collar for a Pro 70. It's a pleasure (and very effective) to be able to work/hunt two dogs using the same transmitter. I'm especially appreciative that the collars always perform after water retrieves.

I bought this collar as a 2nd to my existing controller When I received it I pulled out the instructions to pair it as a 2nd collar and I couldn't get it. I then Googled how to pair it and found different instructions that worked. Love the bark feature and lights of this collar.

I've been using Tritronics/Garmin Ecollars for many years and these add-on collars were just what I needed.

The order was filled and delivered in a timely fashion and is as described. I have actually been using the PT-10 collars for many years and this was a replacement. I have three labs and get great cooperation from them and it is easy to correct bad/unwanted behavior. The collar on this one seems different than the ones I have gotten in the past. It looks to be more durable and not as prone to separating on the ends when wet.

This was the first time i was going to have to het a second collar for my garmin sport pro. I was worried that it was going to take me a while to pair with the hand held device as sometimes these things dont like to play. This collar took me 5 seconds to pair to the controller. I was very happy it worked right away after a charge. The lights on the collar are also a HUGE benefit. I usually out a bell on my dog while waiting outside the truck to walk into the marsh but with the lights ill be able to turn them on and be just fine.

I picked this up for a new dog rather than alternating my existing collar between dogs. Pairing this to my existing controller took all of 30 seconds and we were up and running. I love the features on these collars - from the ease of use to the lights that are fantastic at night. I've never had an issue with responsiveness. My one complaint: the D rings for the tags are tiny. It's hard to even get a key ring through for a name tag.

We somehow lost one of our dog collars and had to get a replacement. Once I read the directions for the controller and not the collar, setup was a snap. This is a great product.
