Bad design in my opinion. Should be integral to the unit as it is with the controller. It's too easy to lose or misplace. Ordered my 3rd one today.

Gun Dog Supply is my go to source for all things DOG. My Boykin Spaniel loves the retriever dummies that are softer plastic. It's impossible to find them in any store. This charging clip is too easy to leave on the collar without noticing it. If you do, it falls off and if you are outside it is gone.

It works, but they are always getting lost or eaten. Best if the charger lead went straight into the collar. Love the collar though. Training is easy. You just have to be sure you are specific, otherwise you would end up with a very fearful dog.

The collar is terrific, but the clip is easy to lose or stay attached to the collar after charging, and then be lost. It should be a permanent part of the charger, in my opinion.

I like this dog collar with the multi function training and bark collar, BUT... I only had it one week before I forgot to take the charging clip off the collar and of course lost it. I ordered two more clips, did the same thing again, but found it in the lawn. I had to write myself a large note to not forget to remove the charging clip. A couple weeks later, the habit is now ingrained, thankfully. The clip fits so smoothly on the collar it feels like part of it and unless you're conscious of removing it, rather than just unplugging it. That crucial piece is very easy to lose.

Garmin made a mistake in this design that they have corrected on newer models. This clip is easy to lose, as I did and should be permanently attached, so you can't lose.

I used to leave the charger for the dog collar on the counter. Then my wife acquired a cat. That is when the clip disappeared. I had a hunt with my buddies that next weekend, and when I could not find the charging clip I ordered one from Gun Dog Supply. I received it on time, got the collar charged, and had a good pheasant hunt.
