Can be used for Starting Track Races

The .22 Long Crimps are excellent to use by a Starter for Track & Field Meets. Plenty loud to be heard for all lanes. No need to go for a higher caliber, more expensive blank.

Always get great service, I ordered 22 blanks and should have called about size, I didn’t and blanks are too long for my pistol. I called and explained the situation and was told to return them . Unfortunately the smaller length blanks are on back order. Hopefully the back ordered blanks will come in soon. I have returned the original order. These work great, almost as loud as actual gun fire and perfect for running drills and getting the dog more used to gunfire if you know what you’re doing.

Every round fires, no duds here, also it seems like Gun Dog supply is the only one that had these .22 blanks in stock, lots of other companies were out of stock till July 2021.

As advertised, they are REALLY LOUD!! The downside to that is, because they have more powder they expand the casing when fired and its tough to get the casings out.

Hello, they worked just fine, but I found them to be much to quiet for my training purposes. I have a cap gun that is just about as loud. These would be fine for the first step in introducing a pup to gunfire, but after that they are too quiet. That being said, I should have researched them a bit more to find out if they would be what I needed. Thank you.

Good price/value. No misfires so far after firing several through Alpha .22 starter/training pistol. Easy to load/unload and they are noticeably louder than the smaller acorn blanks.

Much easier to load. However, they tend to stick in the barrel when trying to re-load.
