Great collar for training and for keeping a dog under control, Wish they would last longer, this is my 4th I have bought for the same dog in the last 7 years.

I can only review the hardware as I am still working to introduce my dog to the collar. The controls are easy to understand and easy to set up and use. My only complaint is that they do not include all 3 sizes of contact points. I ended up purchasing the shortest contact points separately due to my whippets short coat and funny shaped necked.

We live in a rural area with 2 labs. They tend to run off in the woods where the cannot hear (or choose to ignore) our calls. The collars fix this problem and they always come home quickly when beeped. Our black lab had this collar for a year or two but he managed to slip it off recently in the woods so we had to buy a new one, but I can say that as old as it was the battery life was still pretty good and would last most of the day. The stimulation is good to have too. We had to use it a few times on the black lab because he can be aggressive to other dogs, but after using the stimulation he now only requires beeping (sometimes not even that, he'll just sit by us and whine when he sees a neighborhood dog). These collars are very durable and easy to use. Don't bother with a cheap knock-off from amazon. Just spend the money now and have something that's good quality and will last. Trust me; been there, done that hah!

The collar arrived on time, in good condition, and works as expected. The jury is still out on how effective it's going to be on the dog, but that's more of a trainer issue 😂 I test it regularly on myself to make sure nothing is malfunctioning and that the battery stays charged. For the last 3 weeks it's been good.

When setting up the collars for 2 dogs, I noted that I cannot get the MC stimulation setting. I can only set to M or C. Also, the stimulation level button is very hit or miss. Sometimes it locks a level in and sometimes it doesn't. So you have to double check whenever you change something. That said ,just by nature of using an e-collar one SHOULD check and re-check the settings to prevent errors that could potentially harm or scare your dog(s) On the upside, it has been very effective for correcting unwanted, unruly barking at our kitchen window and for discouraging jumping on people when they enter our home. It took one or two corrections for each behavior and now we are just using the T (tap/vibration) if at all. I have two 60lb. PWD males who are very well behaved except for these two issues. The collars have helped us overcome these unwanted behaviors.

I ordered this e-collar on the recommendation of friends and after reviewing it on several web sites. Once ordered I was concerned because I didn't really know how to begin using it. When I reached out to Gun Dog Supply they sent me a DVD on introductory training which really helped me feel more comfortable in beginning to use the collar. The services was fast and reliable, the e-collar is a very good product. It has sufficient range for what we need and is easy to use. It charges quickly and holds a charge for several days.

I used an ET-300 to train my puppy, then replaced with this model so I could control both my dogs collars with one remote. Works flawlessly. Walking them both off leash is much less stressful.

Works good, the only thing is that it came in yellow, not orange.

My aussie is deaf, so I was looking for a simple vibrating collar. After accidentally electrocuting her with a cheap collar (which I returned to amazon), I found this one and decided to spend some extra money. So far so good. She has taken well to it. Now it's time to really get down to training her. This collar appears much less likely to hit a button by accident and hurting her. Time will tell, but things are going well!

Love it. Had a problem with the remote, but called Steve and he sent one out right away to replace it. And my dog responds to it and using it for classical conditioning. Hoping I will decrease its use with time because of classical conditioning (Pavlov).

I have had my mini educator for two weeks now and the progress that I've made with training has been remarkable.

I have years of experience using ecollars for training K9's. We purchased the 2 collar mini educator to reinforce nuisance barking and basic house manners for our house dogs. This system allows me to find the best sensitivity for each dog and lock the number in. This helps when more than one person is using the remote to correct a dog. The mini educator collars have been very effective training tools, and within a few days the dogs have a new respect for house rules with a clear, fair, and safe deterrent!

Battery charger was not working when I received collar. Called, and they are sending a new one. It has been 5 days since I called, and have not received charger yet.

It's perfect for my dog! Fits great in my smaller hand. I will buy another when the time comes.

It took me a little bit to understand the directions to program the collars, but other than that they are great. It is nice to be able to correct either dog with just a touch of a button. I have not had any low battery issues, but I do try to plug them in once a week to charge.

I inherited my dad's very spoiled 6 year old little Yorkie when he passed. We already had a border collie who was trained with your product. He is wonderful! My Yorkie is quickly becoming very well behaved. He kept running in the street, and I was so afraid he would get hit. I asked for help from your site, and you recommended the Educator. Love, love, love this product! I highly recommend this product for the process of training. You will find that you can have nearly immediate and effective results using the mini educator training collar. Gun Dog Supply has fantastic customer service. Will definitely buy future products from GDS.

Battery lasts for a couple days at a time. Excellent range. Neat vibrating function. Lights on the collars for taking walks or playing in the dark. I like the stopwatch style remote. Easy to operate. I like how the collars cannot accidentally be turned off due to the magnetic on off connector. I like how it has a find me feature which beeps if you ever lose the receiver from the dog. The only negative is that it's difficult to figure out the boosting mode without reading the instructions. But even that's not much of a problem.

Great product would recommend this product to anyone. I have a stubborn 11 month old mixed breed at 65lbs and a 7 year old manchester terrier mix at 15lbs, it works great for both sizes with no problem.

Totally love these. Was very hesitant at first, but had a trainer let us try them. The control and variance levels of the shocks possible result in the ability to correct the dog without harm. Absolutely would recommend these, especially if retraining hard-headed dogs :-)

I bought this for my Jack Russell, and chose it since it was a collar sized for little dogs. My daily driver for training, which is how I make a living, is Garmin/Tri-Tronics, and that's not going to change any time soon. This collar has some nice features and will serve my purpose nicely since I don't need to do much, if any, changing of stimulation levels, etc. As small as it is, I was hoping that one handed operation would be easier, but I don't find that it is. I'm also not a fan of rheostat type dials and digital readouts for stimulation levels, since one has to look at the transmitter instead of the dog, plus getting to the exact level I need is not as crisp. Battery life is OK, but even with the minimal use this gets on just one dog I find myself having to charge it every three days or so. My TT Pro 100 usually goes a week or more and that's using it all day, six days a week. I'm also not a fan of having to turn off a transmitter after each use and compared to simply pushing a button on my TT collar to turn it on, the magnetic mating of the transmitter and receiver of this little unit is outdated. Bottom line: It will serve its purpose very well for my little JRT, but not something I'd use in my kennel operation.

I have an 11 month old German Shepherd who was having behavior issues. I could not walk her on a leash. She would bark and jump all over when entering the home. We have been using this ONE week, and I have a new pup. This collar works that good! I can now get her to come, place, loose leash walk, and control her jumping and barking!

This device is the best thing that has happened to our family. When used correctly, the results are fantastic. I watched numerous YouTube videos prior to using it to make sure I used it correctly. This was the best purchase I have made for my dog since we rescued him 18 months ago.

My dog knows her commands, and is one of those dogs that just doesn't get enough exercise with an hour of leash walking. She NEEDS to run! But around 10-months old, she started to chase prey, specifically cows in the pasture. She'd always come back, but only on her terms. Enter the Mini Educator ET-300TS. It didn't take many simulations (we followed the instructions for training at ecollar.com), and we tried to keep them as low as possible (her level is 20). You can set the level of boost, and 5 is plenty for us. (It came set at 20.) We've been using the collar 2 weeks, and she doesn't bother the cows, and returns when called. And the batteries still don't need a recharge! She's also been swimming on numerous occasions, and yes, the unit is waterproof! As we are new to e-collars, our only problem was figuring out how tight the collar needed to be to make contact without being too tight. I love the collar, and I am much more relaxed knowing I can keep my dog from getting into trouble!

It was a bit hard to understand the directions, but now that I have used it, it's fairly easy. The results of using the collar has been positive. My puppy has improved with the collar. He is more behaved, and doesn't jump at our plates during dinner, and has stopped chasing the chickens.

Our dog was 8 months old when we got the Mini Educator. It has been a great tool for teaching desired commands and correcting unwanted behaviors.

It took me a few days to really understand the manual and how to get it set up, but I usually struggle with technology. I was especially interested in getting it set right for my timid dog. He rarely needs any corrections, but if it is too strong for him, he freaks out for weeks. So I started with 10, out of 100. I am up to 25 and it seems to get exactly the results I am seeking. He listens, responds but is not scared. Perfect! My second dog is quite a bit more bull-headed; her number is 40, and it definitely gets her attention, but she is not afraid either. I love the lack of a warning beep, as that always frightened my timid guy. Now I correct either without alerting the other. Einstein was a bit pricier than I really wanted to go, but now I firmly believe it was worth every penny. You get what you pay for, and I got what I asked for in this setup. By the way, my timid corgi is 25 lbs, and the strong-willed pappy is 20 lbs. These are regular lap dogs that live a very good life. I would not hesitate to use this setup on even the smallest of pets, as it is designed to be extremely gentle.

One of our rescues came to us as a true yapper and quickly turned our other dog into one! We tried everything from positive reinforcement to negative....treats, crate, even the vibration collars. Nothing seemed to effect our Maltese. Barking seemed to be more important to her than anything...until we used our Mini Einstein training collars! After 1 week of training, they don't even wear the collars now. All I have to do is call their name and hold up the transmitter! Amazing! Now we can keep our dogs AND our sanity! Thanks!

Had hunting dog in the past and was faithful Tritronics pro 200 customer, but tritronics didn't really offer a fully featured collar for small dogs at a reasonable price. After searching options I finally settled on the ET-300TS even though I could not find any first hand reviews. I am extremely happy with this product and at the price point it is a steal compared to others. The collar is the smallest I could find on the market. It has plenty of power, range, and the light feature is very nice at night. I have not had the opportunity to test the collar in water to ensure it seals out the water but the system comes with a two year warranty. Battery life has been great charged it after it arrived and have been using for two weeks without the need to recharge I am guessing we have roughly 30 hrs at this point. Before you spend lots of money on higher priced collars give this collar strong consideration.
