I love this product it's the closets thing to real bird just wish they were pre scented .they clean up easily. And are durable throw after throw! What a great training tool .my dog gets super excited when I drag these out for blind and water training.

I buy two ducks a year, one for each dog. One for the Lab and one for the Springer Spaniel. This is their favorite pool toy and they do not put them down. They get used about 5 days a week and year around.

Great product...we use extensively when training marking skills. Consistent throws out of our Zinger Winger launchers or for that matter when hand thrown. Just really nice change up when your dog needs a little change up or extra excitement to push through tough sessions. Naturally improves dogs mouth habits when retrieving so that is great bonus. Dogs just love them!!!

Really like these for certain training aspects. Very visable in the air and on the ground and a bit smaller than the mallards and thus launch out of the wingers farther.

My dog loves this...she likes to carry it around after retrieving it.
I can't say how much the addition of scent helped, but she does seem to find it readily in dense cover.
She has a tendency to hold cylindrical dummies by the flap on the end where the rope attaches, but she holds this dummy on the main part of the body...the design including the hard head and feet promote that.

I am very pleased with my Dokken training ducks. Initially purchased the smaller size for my very young pup. She has grown quickly and is now 4.5 months old and ready for a full size bird. She was a bit puzzled on the first retrieve as the dummy had grown, but quickly figured out the right placement in her mouth and she was so pleased bringing it back!

The Dokken training dummy is my Lab's first choice in dummies to retrieve. It's about the size of a real duck (her true favorite retrieve). When we are heading out to do some retrieves, she always looks at the cabinet where the Dokken is kept.

I got this to train my GSP as a versatile dog. She retrieves toys but she was not sure about this trainer tool at first. After swinging it around to get her excited about it and playing around with it she is retrieving it properly.
The duck is a realistic size and shape, and is very durable. I can swing it as hard as I can throw and it just bounces off the ground and does not show more sign of wear than grass smudges.
Now she is has little interest in her old toys and just wants this one. I added the duck scent stick to spice it up too.

The deadfowl trainer was up to par with the Dokken standard. Anyone who trains dogs knows that Tom Dokken knows his stuff, and the deadfowl trainer shows this. Very durable and a nice hard foam material. The bluebill is a mouthful for my Boykin to grab, and has helped eliminate some of the rolling she does with smaller bumpers. Has a good weight and is easily throwable. Highly recommend.

I have a number of these Dokken Dead Fowl Trainers. I have used them in training my Boykin Spaniel in both land and water retrieving drills. The Black Duck Trainer in particular has taught him to distinguish a duck in choppy water as it is not as easy to pick out in the waves. So this challenge has made him a better retriever.
