My grandson loved this as his birthday present for training his puppy to hunt. It had everything needed. I also ordered him hunting tapes and by accident ordered a duplicate one, called and they took it off my order promptly. They ship the orders fast. I will do all my hunting dog business with them. Great people to work with.

This kit is just the thing to get started in training a pup. If your new to training as I am it's nice to have someone who knows what's needed to begin.

A complete, high quality starter kit for our 4.5 month old lab. He loves it and bring relatively new to training a retriever, we are finding the training book and DVD very helpful.

Excellent training book and supplies. Techniques have been very effective, and my puppy is advancing nicely. I do wish it was available with a smaller choke chain and dead fowl trainer more suited to my spaniel. Probably sized perfect for a larger lab.

Lil Miss Abbie is 11 weeks old today. The supplies in the kit were a little big at first for her, but she seems to be acclimating just fine... Threw one of the bumper dummies in my lake, and she went right after it. Can't wait for bird season here in Florida! I think it is an all around good purchase if you're new into training your dog from the start (like me). The check cord I realized I could've made my self, but the fact that it came with the bumpers, dummy, and wings was great. I wish I had bought the kit before we got our pup! Tom Dokken's book is real easy to read and has a lot of good sense info which I wish I had had before we got her home. She's coming along fine for a 3.5 month old though! I would recommend this to any who needs a place to start.
