Beautiful collars.

These sturdy, well made collars come custom fit with continuous stitching to the ends. The brass nameplates are very distinctive and easy to read. Very pleased with the product, and made in the USA! Worth every penny. Will definitely do more business with them!

I have purchased a few leather collars from gundogsupply over the years and this one is up to the same quality as the others. The leather is thick, the hardware is above all reproach, and the name plate is well done. What else to say, get one, you will love it and so will your pooch.

Having three Labs during my life, so far, I have always had good taste when it comes to 'collaring' my friends, with Remington being a favorite. Nowadays, remington wants a lot, too much money for a simple leather collar so I hunted up a replacement and GUN DOG SUPPLY came through with a perfect model - am particularly fond of the brass tag with Frank's vital statistics so if he should ever wander more than 10' feet away from me, someone will be able to return him to me! Thanks GDS for a very good product and excellent service. Much appreciated from a lady of the West and lover of all Labs.

I looked for a bit at local stores and on the internet for a quality leather collar and this was the nicest one I found. When it arrived I was not disappointed. High quality leather and hardware on both the collar and matching leash. Engraved tag is really nice as well. Thanks and I will be back!

Absolutely love this collar and name plate. Purchased it after family members each bought and loved collars for their own dogs. The fit was stiff on the first day as leather would be, and it’s already softened up nicely.

I was quite impressed with the collars, but two of the collars had the same name on the tags. I ordered three collars, one with the name BULL, one with the name ZIGGY, one with the name RED. I received one with the name BULL, and two with the name ZIGGY. I was disappointed in the results. Will probably shop elsewhere next time.

Have purchased several collars from Gun Dog Supply for our two mini-bernadoodles. (Sp?). Love the quality of these products. We did the same for our GSP and Aussie Shep a couple of years ago (miss them both tremendoulsy). Wouldn't purchase my dog products anywhere else. Can't beat the quality for the price.

I can’t say enough good things about the leather collars from GDS. I love the name plates that are attached. The quality is amazing! Our older dogs have had theirs for several years and they are as good as new. They truly hold up well. And in usual leather fashion, they look better with time and the leather is soft yet strong. The title says it best, these are the only collars I buy. Anyone in the family gets a new pet and I immediately gift em one of these. I’ve been buying them for my dogs at least 10 years, the leather ages beautifully. That being said, the name plate sometimes falls of around year 3/4. But that’s after hard years of wear, including getting wet. I will aways buy another despite the plate coming off tho, these are great collars. Highly recommended! Thanks Steve!

You can't go wrong with these gorgeous and practical collars: no jingling dog tags, striking brass hardware, and the leather gets softer with age. We first bought this collar for our dog Holmes over a decade ago. (He had two in his lifetime.) Now, our new dog Ryker has one. The quality is still top-notch. We truly get so many compliments on the collar.

This is my second collar. Recently, I was on a walk with my dog and she was darting in and out of the woods and stream. When we returned to the car, I realized her collar was gone. She had clearly snagged it on something and it came off as designed. I promptly ordered a replacement. I was also impressed with the speed that I received the collar-even with an engraved tag. This collar holds up great to all conditions. My dog is a working farm dog and the collar is constantly subjected to getting wet and dirty. The collar is a great value. Very satisfied. This will always be my go to collar and I let everyone know. Thank you!

Customer service was terrific. The collar wasn’t what I expected. Had the Mendota for my previous pup. She wore it for 8+ years. Lots of water as well and it stood the test of time. This was not the same quality sadly. Didn’t appear to have the same durability or leather quality unfortunately.

We have 4 dogs, we tried other products many years ago with our first. Don't bother with leather leashes from petco or petsmart, those fall apart in a few months. These gundog collars are beautiful, durable, functional- shipped quickly, we cannot be happier

I am a real believer in good safe collars for dogs that navigate barbed wire fences, etc.
This is good quality leather capable of both wet and warm climates......and ID plate easy to read and very visible. I once came across a pointer hanging by his collar from a fence....which made me a believer in safety collar. I lost a big running pointer while chukar hunting in a northwest blizzard.....rancher called three days later as he could read phone number off collar. The new dark brown collar makes name plate standout nicely.
I included px of initial light tan collar ....new dark brown matches dog color and sets off brass name plate nicely.

I accidentally entered the wrong address in my shipping information so the package got sent back. They emailed me right away to ask for a correction and had the package back out the next day at no extra charge! The collar itself is lovely, I searched the internet for a long time looking for a leather collar with gold plate and this was the most affordable option and definitely the highest quality!
