Overall, it's well made and functions exactly as I hoped it would. I was really thinking it was going to work out. Then I discovered a design flaw. I went through some thick brush and the leather snaps came undone somewhere in the thick of it and now I have to buy a replacement transmitter for a couple of hundred bucks. I should have had the forethought to add a separate tether to it in case that happened but I didn't so now I have a partial leather holster with no transmitter to put in it. It would probably work perfectly if you are never in thick brush, but I spend a lot of my time in the thick stuff when upland hunting and learned the hard way that this wasn't secure enough for my needs. I like the look and feel of this one better but I think i'll try a fabric holster that's hopefully more secure for my next attempt.

The Coyote leather holster is, as advertised, a very high quality and well made item. It's made from very supple leather and uses good stitching and fasteners. It allows the transmitter to be kept within reach but out of the way. So far it has been a great product!

Extremely pleased with the Coyote holster, this is my second one. Securely snaps to belt or to a shoulder strap, whichever is more comfortable, convenient and useful. Top quality leather and snaps, you cannot ask for more.

This product is just what I needed. I run field trial dogs in group training and this keeps the transmitter on me at all times.

Good quality, I like that it hangs from a belt and it would be hard to lose the transmitter.

I really enjoy having this holster on my belt or belt loop. I lost one transmitter before by setting it down, so this is great. The only improvement would be reducing the size of the sewn joint below the correction buttons, but it also stops one hitting them inadvertently.

Fits well. Keeps your transmitter handy and will keep you from loosing it.

I haven't used it in the field yet, but it fits the Garmin Pro 550. The only thing I noticed is the seam below the buttons may get in the way of the lower button on the 550.

It's an ok holster. The fit isn't as good as I would like, but it's not bad. And you can't charge the remote with it on, and that's not good in my opinion.

I understand that the holster was not made for the 550 but I am sure a new snap leather retainer would not cost that much to produce for a proper fit. Fit and finish is not the greatest. Transmitter body and belt loop partions are completly different colors and types of leather. While I like the holster overall, fit and finish leaves a lot to be desired.

I love the look and concept. However my Garmin Tri Tronics Pro 550 will not fit in the holster. I will have to return it and find another holster.

Have to remove to charge transmitter, and transmitter has came unsnapped a few times. I'll have to figure out some type of extra safety, so I don't lose it!

The Garmin Pro holster is handy to use. I have had a few different models and lost a transmitter, so bought this one which is fairly secure. I taped the snap at the belt loop to to be sure no accidental snap release. The surprise was how handy this holster makes getting to my transmitter.

Holster is well made, however strap that secures transmitter in holster is clearly wrong. The strap needs to be reversed to fit correctly. After I received it I read reviews that say the same thing. If the snaps were changed to upside down, that would fix it. I'm keeping it, but come on man, make them change it before selling more.

This piece of equipment is made to hold your transmitter securely and last many seasons. I like how I can look down and see the dial and all the buttons while still being easy to reach.

It's well-made and good-looking. I hang it upside down from a shoulder strap with the buttons facing outward. That makes it very easy to grab and use. I also use a carabiner to hang it upside down from my belt loop. It's very versatile.

Had a few others, but this one is the best! Easy to access, but out of your way. Love it!

Leather is a little too loose around the 100. Will work good for hunting, but when training it won't get used because it's faster to correct with the 100 in hand.

This holster works so much better than the shells I have used on previous transmitters. The other covers/shells have a clip that allows the transmitter to spin, but the Coyote Leather Garmin PRO Transmitter Holster keeps the transmitter face up and ready to use. Great addition to my training equipment!

I like this leather holster. It seems like it will securely hold my transmitter. The top strap seems like it could have been designed to fit better, and that is why I gave it 4 stars. It still is very secure however, and the fit is great everywhere else.

I like everything about it except for the strap going over the top of the transmitter. It appears to be made backwards to me.

The strap that snaps over the top of the unit doesn't fit. I'm going to modify it so that it works. Very disappointing to have to do that, but it is what it is.

This holster is well made and allows access to all of the controls on my transmitter. I like the way the transmitter hangs antenna down.

Great product

The only negative I have experienced is that the (2) screws on the bottom of my transmitter are exposed when using this product. I receive a stimulation at times. The regular Tritronics fabric holster has a bottom cover to prevent this problem.

I guide quail hunts daily, and this holster is great to keep the controller handy, yet out of the way. So far, pleased with it.

I owned another type of holster in which ultimately resulted in a lost transmitter. I purchased this holster three years ago, and the quality was excellent. I can attest that after a great deal of hard partridge and pheasant hunting, the holster has held up very well. The holster provides for easy access, and you can be comfortable your transmitter is very secure. I have recommended it to my friends who use Tri-Tronics.

I wished I had found this holster and bought it two years ago when I started training. It keeps your transmitter handy while leaving hands free to control or direct your dog.

This holster was exactly what we were looking for. Our G3 remote fits perfectly in the holster, and we never have to worry about it slipping out. The strap on top fits over the antenna perfectly, as to not block the dial. The strap connects to the holster with sturdy, heavy-duty snaps. The belt loop strap is adjustable to two different lengths, with the use of snaps. We found that it can be hooked to your belt for easy access, or if your coat or vest has loops or straps for it to hang from. Very convenient, excellent, well-made product with a surprisingly great price! We are extremely happy with the Coyote Leather holster.
