My lab puppy had both an orange and leather center ring collars. They r terrific, strong, love the center ring plus the nameplates are bold and so helpful if ever needed for someone to read. Because he outgrew those two, just ordered this red reflective one, fit is awesome, plenty of room for him to continue to grow into. Slides really easily so it’s terrific as he squirms still when putting on or taking off for baths, so able to latch up quickly and safely. Again the nameplates truly are the only way to go. It’s so reassuring, hopefully never needed, but peace of mind is there if he would wander off. Had dogs all my life but never collars as nice as these, will continue to purchase them from now on.

We’ve been buying these collars for over 10 years and love them. They don’t get wet or retain water, they don’t pull on the hair, they don’t smell after being in the water, and the materials are fantastic. The brass and stainless don’t corrode and the collars are very well constructed with the rivets. We’ve never had a failure. The reflectivity decreases naturally over a few years so we end up replacing them for that rather than the collars ever actually failing. Perfect for working dogs, and also for our older non-working dogs. I just e-mailed them recently asking if they could start supplying them with patterns such as American or Irish flags, boats, etc. as these would be great as gifts for our new dog owner friends as well.

We have used these collars for years - none better! The only reason Sofie needs a new one is that the puppy has been chewing on her neck - including the collar.

I bought two of these as a gift for my brother, who is an avid hunter. The collars have a plastic coating but appeared to be heavy duty and very sturdy. The Brass plate with info and all the fixtures were very strong and high quality. My brother liked the collars a lot and loved the idea of having his email and phone contacts in the event his dogs were lose or lost.

The collars great. It’s just what I ordered. Next time I’ll order a heavier weight. My beagles will pull this apart in three months.

I was looking for a collar for a 15 lb. dog, which is why I ordered a 13 inch collar. I naturally assumed that the collar would be narrower than the one I had ordered for my 60 lb. German Shepard. The collar is too heavy for the small dog and he won't be able to wear it. I was looking for a quiet collar, which I know that this is.

This collar appears to be durable and looks sharp. I like all of the information that can be placed on the plate and it is a good price.

Collar is great. Nice color, reflective band and great quality. I normally get a new one each year for my GSP as the reflective band wears off, but honestly they’d last longer if you didn’t care about that. I’ve gotten both collars with the center ring and without and love them both.

The collar fits perfect with room to spare, I was surprised when I let my dog out in the yard, since I live on a farm I always take a light just to see what else is out there,wow when the light hit my dog he lit up like a car headlight, I sure won't lose my dog with this collar.

Been using these collars for years now. Gone through the leather versions but they got destroyed from salt water. Then I had blue ones but when I lost one of my dogs and got a new pup. I switched to orange. The collars literally last for years. I’d never buy anything but these period.

very nice collar, made of very durable material. reflective band in middle is very visible even with dim light. All clasp, rings, tags and even rivets are heavy duty. I have owned 10 of these collars for years and only 1 has seen its demise and its was because of a 6 week old puppy chewing it up. Would recommend! I will only buy this collar from now on for my dogs and will purchase from Gun Dog for the best price!

Bought 2 collars for my Brittany dogs, like the center ring and D ring on the collar. The reflector strips are easy to see and the sizing chart is very accurate. First time I have purchased collars from Gun Dog Supply. I am pleased and will buy my collars here in the future.

Having recently gained a yellow lab who was released from NEADS service dog training due to huge logistics issues connected to COVID, he needed a new collar with our contact info on it. As hunting season is here, I wanted something Blaze Orange and reflective. We have been buying your collars for over ten years for our now elderly German Shepard so we knew where to go ! We got a new one for her with our new phone number on it. I believe that these are the fourth and fifth of these collars we have purchased from you and many of our friends and family have purchased them from you at our urging. Excellent quality collars, love the engraved brass name and info plate. I have no idea how you manage such tight turn around on custom made products ! Keep up the great work !

I really like this collar. The center ring is very helpful with training as I can attach a leash to the center ring and another leash to the front ring. The material is very durable and yet lightweight. The reflective strip works great at night. Very visible.

The collar material is thinner than expected. Time will tell if holds up. Reflective material works well. Craftsmanship and quality control is lacking. The collar end is not nicely rounded off. Worse, the brass nameplate was installed crooked. No excuse for that! Lastly, pay attention to what you want engraved. I wanted mine and my wife's name on the collar.In the tiny box where you type in what you want, I never noticed that it dropped the last letter of my last name. This was my error but I think GDS could improve that part of the web page so it is more visible. For instance, the page where we enter our name for credit card verification - build it to be like that and it will be much easier to verify

This collar solved two issues - safety and identification. The reflective strips are perfect and the (dual) name plates appear to be solidly fastened. Frankie was very skilled at removing ID tags from his collar - one of many skills. This is one of many Gun Dog products we’ve purchased and they have all been great and the service/on line advice has been spot on.
