I installed these quick release straps on both my Garmin e-collars. I have 2 GSDs, a female long-hair and a younger male. I've used the straps for a couple of weeks now with mixed results. When I first began using the e-collars with the long probes and the their OEM plastic straps, I was concerned at how tight they had to be for the dogs to feel the correction. I saw that the dogs weren't bothered at all (I had already tested the collars on my bare thigh, turned all the way up, to be sure the impulse itself wouldn't hurt my dogs). The tight straps restricted neither blood flow nor respiration, and obviously didn't hurt the dogs a bit. But the plastic straps wore out quickly and I replaced them twice. It was nearly impossible to not catch my female's long hair in the buckle. I thought the quick release nylon straps would be a good solution, so I tried them. The quick connect/disconnect is great, but the nylon is not stiff like the plastic is, and allowed the receiver to hang down at an angle with the contacts not against the dogs' necks. I've tightened the straps twice, with mixed results. My female is headstrong, and is either ignoring my corrections or they aren't getting through. My male is much more sensitive to corrections, and responds instantly to the tone alone. A wider nylon strap would work better, but would need to narrow to 3/4 inch where it connects to the receiver, maybe with a removable clasp in the middle at the back of the receiver. I'll try a bit tighter.

We liked the colors, but both collars slip. This makes the attached ecollar receiver get too loose to function correctly. I’ll be returning these.

Just started working with a trainer for my deaf dog, Lily. We are using an e-collar to get her attention and help her to respond to hand commands. This collar makes it so much easier to put on and take off. The original collar was stiff and had a buckle.

Fast and Easy to use for on dog with long hair even in the dark. Good for dog excited for going for a walk when that collar goes on.

I just got a couple of these to try them out. I like them better than the regular buckle ones. I’m kind of nervous about the plastic buckle on this, but we will see.

Highly recommend this quick release collar to replace the collar that comes with the Dogtra collar. Much easier to put on and take off compared to the original collar especially if trying to place on a squirming dog!

These collars make putting the receiver on the dog quick and easy and provides a reliable fit every time. No more messing around with buckles to get the right tightness without being too tight on the neck.

We were having trouble getting the e-collars on with the plastic collars that they came with. We would always put them on too lose or too tight. After adjusting these nylon collars once they click on and off and are always the same tension. They're inexpensive and work perfectly.

Good quality collar but it needs a D ring for attaching to a leash.

Currently still running it through the ringer. Works great when you have multiple impatient, spoiled brats. So far I like it better than the collar that came with the Garmin system. I'm hoping to get it out in the field more and see what the dogs can do to it.

Great for my Garmin shock collar. Makes it easier and quicker to put on my dog. However, it doesn’t want to stay tight on my dog so I’m always having to readjust it.

I like the simplicity an appears to be well made. I put on a Dogtra 280c, went on very easy! It releases and snaps in place well, nylon strap seems good. I think it's certainly good for what I paid. Very happy with this over the stock strap.

We were looking for a replacement e-collar strap that did not have a buckle. This fit our Sportdog e-collar perfectly. It makes taking the collar on and off so much easier and the collar does not have to be sized each time your take it on and off.

I wanted to get away from the buckled collar and go to a quick snap. This crawler was exactly what I was looking for the educator e-collar that I use.

These work to replace the stock belt style buckle that comes with the garmin pro sport gps collar. I think they would be perfect if they had the clips that are anti pinch and have an extended lip on the bottom clip. You need these to be snug to do the job and When they are snug it’s also a little tricky to connect them if your dog has longer hair. I find myself thinking they aren’t saving much time over the belt style because I am trying to clear the hair from around the buckle and it’s a tight fit. I have two mid sized labradoodles.

Bought a pair of these collars for the second time (first set was about 6 years ago). Only replaced because the orange had faded on our more active dog's collar (bird hunting, camping, hiking, leash free walks, swimming in the river). The black one still looked great, but we replaced it anyway. Purposely have orange and black to match the colors on sportdog remote for 2 dogs.

This quick release collar was purchased for our German Wirehaired Pointer and fit our Garmin Sport Pro training device perfectly. We had more than enough length and trimmed the extra off easily. Looks good and is a sturdy collar and clip. We are pleased with our purchase and will buy again.

I have looked everywhere for a collar that buckles for my sportdog receivers. These are the perfect fit. They go on fast so when you have a large wiggly dog like my German shepherd you can snap and go without having to waste time trying to find just the right hole to use the belt type buckle they came with.

I ordered this collar to replace existing ecollar. I sized it to fit our dog but it will not stay tight when set to correct size.

I have three dogs, all who are e-collar trained. Quality Product, Quick delivery, and Reasonable pricing

There's nothing wrong with this collar, it's well made and does its job. However if you're like me and are looking for for a replacement collar for your Garmin E-collar and are hoping for something that's quicker to put on and the same size every time... see the cons listed below. I ended up buying the 3/4" Reflective Collar Strap instead and am much happier with that. It works great in the water, is actually easier to put on, and has a reflective stripe which is great since the Garmin doesn't come with a light.

We recently began e-collar training with our goldendoodle and we hated the belt like collar that came with our Dogtra device. I had made my own collar but it wasn’t holding up to doggie daycare. That’s when I stumbled on this company and their 3/4” quick release e-collar. Absolute game changer! Great price, fair shipping and arrived so quickly. Was super easy to swap out too. I even had 2 people, including the owner, at doggie daycare ask where I found it.

This is my second collar of this type from GDS. It's a very good collar. Fits well to Garmin Pro 550. Takes a little trial and error to properly adjust, but once you do, it works great. I use a couple of pieces of electrical or Gorilla tape to keep the nylon webblg from slipping/loosening. Big advantage is that it is quick on and off. Bigger advantage is safety. If dog gets tangled up and is choking or in other distress, you can quickly remove collar without further constricting his throat as you would with a regular buckle.

I recently purchased a Garmin Sport Pro E Collar. Love the E collar but found the strap it came with difficult to deal with. This Quick Release E Collar Strap is fantastic. Easily attaches to collar and so quick getting it on my dog.

These collars are a perfect replacement for the Garmin belt style collars that cone with their ecollars. They are much easier to use, are easy on and off, and, since they can be sized in advance, you can get the perfect size on your fir baby every time. Plus, with a perfect fit, much lower stimulation is required. I would strongly recommend these collars.

This is so much better for my dog then the one that came with the e-collar! So happy to have found it! Will be ordering more in the future, the pink is bright and I think I will want some variety.

Love the quick release collar! The dogs are usually so excited to get the collar on to go hunting they are awfully impatient. With as traditional collar it was much harder to get on when they are jumping around. With this collar it quickly attaches and detaches. Also color coordinated with the garmin handheld unit.

i have three German Shepards,love the quick release collar,they snap together very tight, noway they can work loose. the buckle collars seem to work there way undone when there romping around with each other

I prefer quick release collar for putting it on or taking it off my dog vs buckle collar. It was very easy to replace the original collar.

Basically just a piece of nylon webbing & plastic clip. I've seen similar or better collars at Walmart for $2-3. Not what we were expecting from GDS. Wife found a much nicer quick buckle (metal) ecollar made of the traditional ecollar 'plastic' type material on Amazon for just a few dollars more than this gds collar. The GDS collar isn't bad per say but it should be less than $5 & not $11; especially when they charge you $7 to ship it (GDS is Pocketing some money there!) When we called to return it they did refund our money & let us keep the collar so we were only out the cost of shipping so they get 2 stars instead of 1 for that.

I purchased this particular collar to make attaching my dog's e-collar easier. As purchased, the e-collar had a traditional buckle collar. Just try getting it on and adjusted with a wiggly pup wanting to go out! Now it's "snap" and we are on our way. Perfect thickness and width for the e-collar. Count my pup and me two very happy customers!
