Same type I use for my pointers, just a smaller version. All dogs are in water frequently, so lifespan is acceptable at about a year. The collar starts to dry rot and get stinky after that time. Id tag on the collar is a big bonus!

The collar is beautiful and well made and a total bargain for the price. It did not work on my chihuahua though. The leather was too thick and heavy. I gave it to my boyfriend for his bigger dog. It would be nice if you made a lighter weight thinner collar for small dogs. I would buy one in a minute.

I am very pleased with the collars, and the prompt delivery. I prefer the 3/4 inch because a Garmin is used on my dog, and the collar doesn't take up much neck space.

I actually got this collar for a Rat Terrier that I was sitting. I use the 1 inch collars on my dogs. The 3/4 inch is exactly the size of the id tag. If the id tag is not perfectly aligned, it hangs over the collar slightly. I like the 1 inch collars with the tag much better. I would purchase this again for a smaller dog. Great quality leather.

Steve- We received our order yesterday and couldn't be happier. I think the prices for toys/collars is excellent and ordering was a breeze. We took our two labs to the vet today with their new collars on. Our new pup had on a nice leather one with nameplate. The vets were very impressed and I was like, yeah it was only 5 bucks.
