This is just the right collar for my active German Shorthair Pointer. He was constantly loosing the nametag off his old collar. Having the tag mounted right on the beautiful leather is perfecto!

Love the heavy leather and brass components. Only issue is that the collar could use an extra keeper. I made one from some scrap leather in black: no more floppy end it is looks great too. Junie is very happy!

The leather collars we get for our dogs are superb. We have, and will continue to have, both hunting (upland and waterfowl) and 'home' dogs. We love that we can have all our information on the brass name plate so there is no jangling of tags to hear in the nighttime or in the fields. These collars stand up to our dogs' most rigorous activities -- from summers at the lake (daily swims, hours on end) to long weekends in the field and duck blinds, hikes, shed hunting, and more for YEARS (our last dog had her collar for 12 years, and it is still around even after she crossed the rainbow bridge). The leather is thick and sturdy, with great finish. Fits beautifully on pet. Brass label is also good quality.

Deuce will soon be 11. Same collar leather collar, same dog. Other than the leather being a little bit darker, nothing on the collar has changed. Buckle, rivets, lead rings, stitching, ID tag….nothing. I’m having to buy a new collar because Deuce and I aren’t allowed back into the house. He got too close to the business end of a black and white kitty. 🦨

I wish I had found this company years ago. The collar I received is just fantastic. The quality of the stitching and leather is amazing, and all the brass fittings are solid. The name plate looks great, and the rivets fit smoothly into the leather on the inside. My dog is a Golden Retriever and it looks great on him too. I’m glad Scout finally has a collar that will hold up while he’s busy rolling in the dirt and chasing squirrels.

The leather on this collar was nicely finished and absent of any blemishes or imperfections in the leather or stitching. The leather is very durable and about 1.5x as thick as I expected. The ring for attaching tags is thicker, so sliding the rings on for rabies tags can be a bit difficult.

The collar fits perfectly! And the plate just makes it even better! He actually looks like my country dog:)

We bought this collar and the compatible leash for our 8-mo old Doberman puppy. The small metal tag riveted to the collar is a nice addition with the puppy's name and our phone numbers. After having lost so many dog tags or torn collars, these Deluxe Leather Collars are a must for working dogs. They are easy to clean and keep supple with glycerine or saddle conditioner and they aren't phased by water, mud or burrs.

I love these collars! I ordered them for my 4 dogs and have nothing but good things to say about them. They are amazing quality for the price and look very nice on our dogs. I love the gold ID plate too because tags can get very worn and often fall off. I have had no issue with the information wearing down on the gold name plates despite weather/water (I do take these off to bathe them). They are a little stiff when they first come, but after a couple days around our dogs necks, they wear in perfectly. Highly recommend!!

I wanted a nice collar for my GSP but didn't want to spend $40. This one has nice, heavy brass furniture and the quality is exactly what I wanted. The mahogany color complements Parker's coat, too. The order came much more quickly than I expected. Good service.

I’ve had this collar for about a month now and I absolutely love this collar. Very high quality and having the nameplate its a extra bonus. My only complaint is the leather was a bit stiff at first, but soften up after a few days of my dog wearing it. I wish I ordered a size smaller, but my puppy chewed the end of the collar (while my dog was wearing the collar 🤦‍♀️) so I don’t think I would be able to exchange it now. My fault for not measuring my dogs neck correctly.

This mahogany collar has worked well and was sized correctly. D-ring is great, much easier to use than a standard ring. The black trim on the edges is wearing fairly easily due to use, but for the price it has done well so far. The buckle does leave two gray lines on the leather, but most of it comes off with saddle soap. The brass plaque was just a bit crooked, by about 0.5-1 mm. Overall, looks good, works great, and really complements our coonhound's red coat!
