The skid plate protects my setters chest and belly, and prevents her undercarriage from being rubbed raw.

It's well made but my dog got tiny little bumps all around her neck and chest, I dont think the fabric is breathable enough.

Provides excellent protection for dogs in heavy grouse cover.
