I have had two of these collars and they are the best. Having a brass name plate on the collar eliminates the problem of tags falling off.

Great collar. This is our dog’s second one that we bought from you. She chewed the first one when she was a pup but she stopped doing that so we bought another one fir her.

The only thing that could be better is deeper inprint on the brass tag. Can't see the writihg that well.

This collar is perfect for the working dog, occasional hunting, dog, and family pet. As my Lab ages and goes in and out of weight gain, she seems to be in between sizes so we have cut the collar a couple times but don’t care for the overhang. They are so well made and beautiful! Extremely fast shipping.

This collar is well made, good quality and thick leather. The hardware is well sized so leash attaches easily. And she looks so pretty! I am very happy with the brass personalized tag, attached so it cannot catch on anything like a hanging tag can. Good value- and I am happy that this is made in the USA.

The leather is excellent quality and the brass name plate gives it a upscale look. I always buy one of those leather collars with name plates for all my dogs. Having the id attached is great. They get better with age and leather honey they always look great. I would recommend this collar.

I bought this collar for both of our dogs, an Aussie and a Red Heeler. The Red Heeler has never appreciated wearing a collar but hasn't tried chewing this one or clawing at it. The wider width makes it a better fit than the previous 1/2" collars. It is well constructed and I expect it will be the last collars bought for our pups. The added nameplate helps in case they ever wander off so we can be contacted.

Really sturdy collar, good quality leather, easy to get a leash on. Brass name plate is only stamped, not engraved, but it was worth it to receive the collar so quickly!

Got the 21" for our 18 month old lab (83 lbs) and it fits perfect with no extra flapping end. Love the back loop and nameplate details. He's gotten so many compliments and he just looks so dapper.

Second one of these I've purchased and I won't be buying any type of collars for my dogs. Gorgeous leather, brilliant brass tags and hardware. Really couldn't ask for more, especially when the very reasonable price is factored in.

This collar came highly recommended by our vet. Our Pyrenees/lab would frequently lose his tags and IDs on his traditional collars and tags. Bought 3 of these for my dogs, they look great, the stitching is well done and the brass plate gives peace of mind (tag won't fall off) - also nice and silent so they don't wake baby with all the jingling of regular tags. The boys play hard and the leather withstands their rough housing.

I believe I first bought our dogs collars back in 2011 or so. They are of excellent quality and ship fast. They last forever as long as you take care of the leather. I have introduced my friends and family to this shop and it’s all they buy too. Can’t beat the price for quality and I appreciate the product these guys provide. If more companies operated like this one, our country would be in a better place.

This is the second leather collar I have purchased here. I'm purchasing the second because after 4.5 years of near 24/7 wear, the first has finally broken. The leather is of high quality and it is a sharp looking collar with the brass accents. The point of failure for the first was the leather around the sizing hole which tends to get bent and worn more than other areas. That being said this collar held up better than expected for such a reasonable price and I think the best endorsement I can give is buying another as a satisfied customer.

Collar is extremely durable and looks great on your dog as well. The name plate never comes off. Ordered two collars and they were delivered 3 days after ordering. Excellent customer service! We have ordered several items from GDS and have never had a single problem with anything.

This is the second collar I have personally bought from gun dog supply. The first one was for my 2 1/2 year old golden retriever. This new one is for my seven month old golden retriever. I think this is the best dog collar in the world. I've been buying them for many years. We don't have fancy hunting dogs; we have family pet / farm dogs. They're often off leash and sometimes they do wander (the stories they could tell!). Chipping your dog is great, and I would recommend that to everyone, but if the dog just wanders off -- or God forbid gets hit by a car -- it saves a lot of time and bother to have a name and phone number on the collar. So that's the practical reason for buying this collar. The other reason is that they're just so good-looking and classy. Finally, this may seem creepy, but after your doggo is gone, the collar makes a fine remembrance.

I've bought 2 of these collars now. One of them is almost ten years old, and still going strong. The quality of the leather and the construction definitely stands the test of time. This is my favorite dog collar design: no plastic parts to wear out, no finicky buckles to adjust, and the ring on the back is so much easier to clip a lead to than hunting under the dog's neck. Production and shipping was quick: in both instances, I think it took less than a week to complete custom name plate and ship.
