Brass Nameplate with Rivets

Not necessary, but I bent the tag just a tad bit to better fit curve of collar when on dog. Worked just fine.

After not finding what I wanted at my local pet store, I checked for similar ID tags on Amazon first, assuming they would be the cheapest and fastest. After scrolling through pages of options and comments, none of them seemed to be of any lasting quality. Gun Dog Supply had exactly what I was looking for. I have a 90lb Doberman who walks off leash every day with a lot of enthusiasm. I needed a tag that was sturdy and could handle the abuse. The price was so good that I ordered two and they were delivered within a week. I will always come to Gun Dog Supply first for my dog's supplies.

I rivet these to many other things than dog collars to identify them!!!!
Tool boxes to my farm equipment.
Brass they are weather and rain-proof.
They look very official and I will also put them in hard-to-find places so if something is stolen I can later prove it's mine and the thieves don't know inside the box there is a name plate!
Hope you don't up the price after seeing all the other uses!

Tag was perfectly stamped and the perfect size for the collar.
I might suggest using a red wax paint stick to fill in the stamping and it highlights the letters and will last several years. Give it a try.

These are genius! I recommend Steve's tip: Do not put the name of your dog on the ID Plate. "Needs Daily Meds" is a great suggestion to encourage anyone that may find your dog to then return it. It's great that they will install them on a new collar that you purchase. Otherwise it's not too difficult to install them with a punch and a hammer.

These are my go to tags. I don't like tags hanging off of a collar that get caught on brush, make noise, and can get pulled off. These tags fix all of that and ensure my info is with our dog (unless of course she loses the whole collar).

If you don’t have your furbabie’s info on their collar, why are they wearing a collar???? We KNOW it’s not for their leash, because that can cause bruising of their airways and bronchial tubes. They have a harness right???

These brass, rivet-on I.D. tags are the best! Out of 9 dogs wearing them for several years, I've only had one dog lose a tag. And even after years of wear, the engraved contact information is still clear and easy to read. I was tired of spending a small fortune on those cute tags that hang from a dog's collar. Those would be lost after a week. These tags stay on and have helped me recover several lost dogs. I won't go back to using anything else.

This is simply the best ID tag. It fits more info, it’s cheaper than most other custom tags, it comes with plenty of rivets (in case you’re clumsy like me). Even ordering it alone, with shipping, it was still a dollar cheaper than the brass tag from the local pet store.
