I have had multiple different brass plates on collars as phone numbers and addresses have changed. I can't go without them. They offer so much peace of mind knowing that if my dog is lost our numbers are right there. Best part is they don't make a bunch of noise like dog tags that hang from the collar, so my hunts are quiet. On top of that they are super easy to install.

Bought two personalized brass name plates for some new collars which didn't have them. Ordering process was simple, easy and straight forward. Product shipped quickly. When product arrived, not all of the rivets were in the box for both tags. A quick call to Customer Service and the company sent a new package of rivets, pronto! I will be spending more money with this firm! Highly recommend!

I ordered 4 replacement name plates for my two dogs and two collars each. The name plates and the rivets to attach them to the collars came very quickly and everything was correct.

It was easy peasy to punch / drill holes in my dog's leather collar after bending it to match its radius.

The stenciling on my 2 most recent orders of the name plates wasn't nearly as crisp or legible as ones I purchased approximately 10 years ago.

I am very pleased with the brass name plates and rivets. The service, as typical from Gundog Supply, was outstanding. Plates were fabricated and shipped with in a day of placing my order. We don't hunt, my dog is the hunter. I don't like having tags on an everyday dog collar. Hanging tags get caught on stuff outside, and on stuff in the house (like crocheted comforters). I bought enough tags to put one on each of her harnesses, collars, and a couple to have for spares. Why 4 stars and not 5? I got my last batch of brass collar name plates from Dr Foster & Smith - now out of business. The engraving/printing/stamping on the old name plates is superior to the ones from Gun Dog Supply. Both are very readable, both will last longer than I will. If I need more will I order the same thing from GDS? Yes!

Lettering is nice and sharp. Fits the 3/4" collar as well as the 1". Great price and fast turn around.

The name plates were great!

Not necessary, but I bent the tag just a tad bit to better fit curve of collar when on dog. Worked just fine.

After not finding what I wanted at my local pet store, I checked for similar ID tags on Amazon first, assuming they would be the cheapest and fastest. After scrolling through pages of options and comments, none of them seemed to be of any lasting quality. Gun Dog Supply had exactly what I was looking for. I have a 90lb Doberman who walks off leash every day with a lot of enthusiasm. I needed a tag that was sturdy and could handle the abuse. Glad we ordered this for Ollie's collar. In addition, to providing the necessary information, the brass plate complements the collar. Rather than do 4 lines, I think 3 would be better -- especially for those of us needing glasses.

Exactly what I ordered

I rivet these to many other things than dog collars to identify them!!!! Tool boxes to my farm equipment. Brass they are weather and rain-proof. They look very official and I will also put them in hard-to-find places so if something is stolen I can later prove it's mine and the thieves don't know inside the box there is a name plate! Hope you don't up the price after seeing all the other uses!

Ordered three name plates and the quality is impressive. I expected a flimsy plate, but it's very beefy and will outlast the collars for sure. I'll be ordering more rivets to move plates to new collars.

Tag was perfectly stamped and the perfect size for the collar. I might suggest using a red wax paint stick to fill in the stamping and it highlights the letters and will last several years. Give it a try.

Dog tags were very well done stamps were deep and very clear to read.

Super fast service

A screw-type rivet would be better than the push type. I had to re-rivet it after a couple of days and use a vise to crimp.

Just as I ordered

We moved and needed to get my dogs plate changed and I ordered it on a Friday and got it on a Monday so they are very good about making sure it’s sent out in a timely manner. And it’s good quality and came with extra rivets just once which was nice.

I have bought these quite a few times for the same three collars. I have had to change my phone number a few times and these are super easy to put on and take off. No damage to the collars when you swap them and they sit flat and firm against the collar. Highly recommend.

These are genius! I recommend Steve's tip: Do not put the name of your dog on the ID Plate. "Needs Daily Meds" is a great suggestion to encourage anyone that may find your dog to then return it. It's great that they will install them on a new collar that you purchase. Otherwise it's not too difficult to install them with a punch and a hammer.
