Quality construction. Thick, does not stretch or come apart. Our dogs get these wet often, but they take the rough treatment and still look and work great. I will definitely buy more for any new dogs, as these will still be in use on our original dogs.

These are the only dog collars that my 10 month old German Shephard is not able to bite off my 3 year old dog. They are sturdy and beautiful. I couldn't be more please with these collars. I have tried so many others. Thanks for this great product. Rita

Beautiful collar and strong. We've used five different versions of the same style collar over 15 years. Like this one a lot - quality materials and rugged construction, perfect weight, terrific looking and an incredible price. Was tempted to remove for field work the first time out - just to keep this handsome collar for my vizslas when they're home - but these look even better when scuffed up a bit so they never come off. They are not stretching out of shape with handling either, even with a lot of water work and the ever helpful tug out of ditches. Jerry N.

This is a great, sturdy, wonderful collar. I've even washed it in the clothes washer - after the dog rolled in something dead. Looks great, still is supple leather.

These collars are incredibly durable and also very stylish! I have two very active dogs, so it was important to me to have collars that could withstand the water and snow. Steve, The leather dog collar with name plate is the BEST collar I have ever owned. Been on my shorthair for almost 3 years now. The older it gets, the better it looks. I would highly recommend this collar to anyone and especially folks with hunting dogs.

I bought 2 leather collars with name plates for my Setter: a 4 year old Llewellin, and 2 year old English. These guys wear the collars constantly. They've held up very well through regular swimming, hunting, playing, and anything else rigorous that you enjoy doing with your hunting companions. Very happy with them and have had many compliments.

This is a great product. After the third time my neighbors called saying, I think we have your brown dog, I wanted a high quality collar with a flat tag so he could be easily ID'd if he did get out again. The flat tag also saves my nerves by loosing the "itchy dog jingle " Gun Dog supply's prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. I ordered the collar on a Monday and I had it with engraved name tag by that Saturday. The leather wears nicely and doesn't stain my dogs white neck. I am ordering a duplicate collar for my second dog and 3 of my friends have ordered from Gun Dog, all with great results.

It is great. Beautiful color and nice leather. We have gotten quite a few compliments on it. I couldn't find anything that came close to it in the stores around here. The collar is better than I'd expected. Excellent quality and the heavy-duty brass snap ring that's 180 degrees from the buckle is excellent for quick leash attachment/release. Actually everything I've ever bought from Gun Dog Supply has been of superior quality and priced better than elsewhere.

This is, by far, the best dog collar I've ever purchased. Steve's advice on what information to include is simple, practical, and most importantly, helpful. This collar has got my dog returned to me on several occasions. It fits well, looks sharp, and it just plain works. I'd definitely recommend the 2nd name tag engraved, and I'd also recommend including a note to have Steve rivet it to the collar for you. That way, you're not messing around with it when you get it in the mail. Excellent service. Great product, Great price. 5 Stars on this one.

The collar is great. We have three, and after a year or so, they look as good as the day we got them. The name plates have not rusted or faded. We have been very pleased with our purchase and would buy another one.

We bought two of these (one for our lab and one for our great dane), and they have been the best dog collars I have owned. I like that they don't jingle. If they ever wear out, I will replace them with the same ones.

A good well made coller, The combination of solid Ring and D-Ring makes for a easy solid connection for active dogs. The well made name tag with engraved information gives some peace of mind to an owner. I recomend this to anyone that wants a very good solid coller.

Wonderful collar. Nice quality. I love the ring in the back and front and the personalized name plate. Seriously this collar does it all for a fraction of the price of those frou frou boutique dog stores, AND I received my collar in less than a week. My 90 lb German Shepherd wears only this collar. The collar is holding up great. There is one thing I would like to see added. The ability to have your staff mount more than one brass name plate on my collars. Everytime I mount them I bend the rivits and they seem to aways fall off with in a few weeks. The factory installed plates stay on with no problems.
