This is a great product. After the third time my neighbors called saying, I think we have your brown dog, I wanted a high quality collar with a flat tag so he could be easily ID'd if he did get out again. The flat tag also saves my nerves by loosing the "itchy dog jingle " Gun Dog supply's prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. I ordered the collar on a Monday and I had it with engraved name tag by that Saturday. The leather wears nicely and doesn't stain my dogs white neck. I am ordering a duplicate collar for my second dog and 3 of my friends have ordered from Gun Dog, all with great results.

The leather collars with nameplates are the only collars I will use with my dogs. They are worth the extra few bucks as they look great, give a great place to leave your name and phone number, and the leather collars will last my lifetime.

It is great. Beautiful color and nice leather. We have gotten quite a few compliments on it. I couldn't find anything that came close to it in the stores around here. The collar is better than I'd expected. Excellent quality and the heavy-duty brass snap ring that's 180 degrees from the buckle is excellent for quick leash attachment/release. Actually everything I've ever bought from Gun Dog Supply has been of superior quality and priced better than elsewhere.

This is, by far, the best dog collar I've ever purchased. Steve's advice on what information to include is simple, practical, and most importantly, helpful. This collar has got my dog returned to me on several occasions. It fits well, looks sharp, and it just plain works. I'd definitely recommend the 2nd name tag engraved, and I'd also recommend including a note to have Steve rivet it to the collar for you. That way, you're not messing around with it when you get it in the mail. Excellent service. Great product, Great price. 5 Stars on this one.

Great price for a leather collar with a nameplate.

Good quality and well made

The collar is great. We have three, and after a year or so, they look as good as the day we got them. The name plates have not rusted or faded. We have been very pleased with our purchase and would buy another one.

We bought two of these (one for our lab and one for our great dane), and they have been the best dog collars I have owned. I like that they don't jingle. If they ever wear out, I will replace them with the same ones.

A good well made coller, The combination of solid Ring and D-Ring makes for a easy solid connection for active dogs. The well made name tag with engraved information gives some peace of mind to an owner. I recomend this to anyone that wants a very good solid coller.

Wonderful collar. Nice quality. I love the ring in the back and front and the personalized name plate. Seriously this collar does it all for a fraction of the price of those frou frou boutique dog stores, AND I received my collar in less than a week. My 90 lb German Shepherd wears only this collar. The collar is holding up great. There is one thing I would like to see added. The ability to have your staff mount more than one brass name plate on my collars. Everytime I mount them I bend the rivits and they seem to aways fall off with in a few weeks. The factory installed plates stay on with no problems. Overall---Great products, I love your store, you cannot beat the prices, shipping or quality. I will continue shopping at Gun Dog Supply. Thank you once again

I had to soften it up with Neatsfoot Oil to make it more comfortable for her. The buckle and ring could be a size smaller for smaller dogs. Mine is a 54 lb. Lab but she seems to have gotten used to it.

These collars are top quality and beautiful, even after 3 to 4 years of wear. My dogs work day in and out, and I've been very satisfied with the way the collars have held up. A little oil and they look like new. The nameplate is easy to read, and the only problem I've had is that one came riveted crooked on the collar. However, one call to Gun Dog Supply and a new one was on the way. Great quality and service!

I really like this collar. It's very high quality leather and very sturdy. Our dog has only been in the water once with it on, so it remains to be seen how it recovers from constant exposure to water, but the color didn't bleed onto our light dog's fur when it got wet, so we are very happy with it so far!

Great collar, worth the money. My dog swims with his all the time when hunting, and when I take him fishing. With a little leather conditioner every so often, the collar looks great. Brass name tag is also well made. I loved the link on the site about what information should be on a dogs collar.

This is a great collar. It looks good, has the right "weight" to hang properly on my dog's neck. Has lasted well. Has developed a nice "patina" and has not stretched. The only negative, is when it gets wet, it bleeds a bit of color onto my setter's neck. I will buy another when this one wears out.

I liked the last collar better because it was an oiled collar and lasted about 3 years. The new one is already showing signs of wear.

We replaced all our collars (4 dogs) with this one because one of our dogs was missing for 19 days. She had a leather collar with rabies tag, info tag and name tag. By miracle, we found her, but all her tags were missing. I LOVE this collar because the nameplate isn't going anywhere!!! Suggest it to anyone whose dogs are in the country/woods/hunting/etc. Love this collar! :D
