This is the third leather collar with nameplate that we have purchased from Gun Dog Supply. We now have two German Shorthairs and they are very active, spend a lot of time in the woods, and love to play rough, so we needed a tough collar and love this one. Having the nameplate on the collar means no hanging tags that can get caught on sticks and braches. Highly recommend this product!

Love this collar! It is gorgeous, fits my dog Huckleberry perfectly and has made transferring him from his lead to a tie-out while camping super easy! In fact I like this collar so much will be ordering for the rest of our dogs soon.

Good looking collar. Makes the pup look pretty stylish, almost too good looking to go out in the swamp. This collar has been wet many times and is standing up well and still looking good. I've only had it for about 4 months, so I'll update on how it's holding up in a year or 2.

Excellent collars. The detail to engraving was great. Both dogs (King Dobermans) wear them daily as they walk thru the neighborhood. Having the top ring makes it easy to attach leashes.

Good quality. Very easy to use - both front and buckle hook up. Great safety feature with custom engraving plate. Perfect with matching leash = would recommend highly.

The one thing that bummed me out was the fact that it bleeds on my white english setter. the quality is stellar though and the price is great! Got a red collar (though it looks a bit pink) with nameplates for those rainy days/swimming days =]

I couldn't give an excellent rating even though I would purchase again. The leather has one problem and that it easily \"bleeds\" reddish brown dye down the snow white neck fur around my Brit. He doesn't care but for me I would prefer to have leather natural color without dye.

Quality construction. Thick, does not stretch or come apart. Our dogs get these wet often, but they take the rough treatment and still look and work great. I will definitely buy more for any new dogs, as these will still be in use on our original dogs.

Beautiful collar and strong. We've used five different versions of the same style collar over 15 years. Like this one a lot - quality materials and rugged construction, perfect weight, terrific looking and an incredible price. Was tempted to remove for field work the first time out - just to keep this handsome collar for my vizslas when they're home - but these look even better when scuffed up a bit so they never come off. They are not stretching out of shape with handling either, even with a lot of water work and the ever helpful tug out of ditches.

This is a great, sturdy, wonderful collar.
I've even washed it in the clothes washer - after the dog rolled in something dead.

These collars are incredibly durable and also very stylish! I have two very active dogs, so it was important to me to have collars that could withstand the water and snow. Their training collars definitely do that. My dogs have worn them everyday for the past two years and they look as good as when I first purchased them! The leather dog collar with name plate is the BEST collar I have ever owned. Been on my shorthair for almost 3 years now. The older it gets, the better it looks. I would highly recommend this collar to anyone and especially folks with hunting dogs.

I bought 2 leather collars with name plates for my Setter: a 4 year old Llewellin, and 2 year old English. These guys wear the collars constantly. They've held up very well through regular swimming, hunting, playing, and anything else rigorous that you enjoy doing with your hunting companions. Very happy with them and have had many compliments.

This is a great product. After the third time my neighbors called saying, I think we have your brown dog, I wanted a high quality collar with a flat tag so he could be easily ID'd if he did get out again. The flat tag also saves my nerves by loosing the "itchy dog jingle " Gun Dog supply's prices are very reasonable and the service is excellent. I ordered the collar on a Monday and I had it with engraved name tag by that Saturday. The leather wears nicely and doesn't stain my dogs white neck. I am ordering a duplicate collar for my second dog and 3 of my friends have ordered from Gun Dog, all with great results.

The leather collars with nameplates are the only collars I will use with my dogs. They are worth the extra few bucks as they look great, give a great place to leave your name and phone number, and the leather collars will last my lifetime.

It is great. Beautiful color and nice leather. We have gotten quite a few compliments on it. I couldn't find anything that came close to it in the stores around here. And most of all, I appreciate the quick, no-questions-asked exchange for the collar I ordered that was too small. The young woman who answered the phone, besides having a beautiful southern(?) accent, was very polite.

The collar is better than I'd expected. Excellent quality and the heavy-duty brass snap ring that's 180 degrees from the buckle is excellent for quick leash attachment/release. Actually everything I've ever bought from Gun Dog Supply has been of superior quality and priced better than elsewhere.
