The collar was great. It was actually the second one I had purchased from you. It was a Christmas gift to my daughter, but unfortunately another dog chewed it in half while she had her dog in "doggie daycare", and they wouldn't pay for it. So we only got to enjoy it for a couple of weeks.

Best Collar I have ever owned - hands down...

We love these collars - they look classy and are tough enough to hold up to our day to day activities of hiking, hunting and ranching. The leather quality is excellent and the brass hardware is solid. Just wipe off excess water/mud as needed and occasionally apply a little leather conditioner (once or twice a year). We chose to put our phone numbers on the nameplate, which contributes to the safe return of our young lab after a backyard escape - 4 hours and 2 miles later!

Very well constructed. Rapid turnaround time for an engraved product! I've purchased a number of name tag collars from Steve's site and have been very impressed with their competitive costs, quality and timeliness. These collars have used on all of my chocolate labs. This is a very nice collar. It is a quality collar, made well and looks so sharp on our Vizsla. He gets complimented all the time! The customer service at Gun Dog Supply was excellent as well, and we'll look here first if we need other items in the future.

Love em! I buy one for each dog when their about 6 months old. I've got three. The oldest one is now approaching 5 yrs old. They are never taken off. Tags are clearly, deeply engraved and solidly attached. Other than color aging, they show little wear. I expect they'll be a lifetime collar for each dog. Thanks, Carl

This is the 3rd and 4th collar of this type I have purchased from Gun Dog Supply. All for Labs I have owned. One of these was for my grandson's English Springer Spaniel. They are the only collars the dogs wore their entire life times. With just a little care, in the snow, water or heat, they last.

This is a great collar for a great price. It not only looks good, but it is functional. My Lab swims almost every day and the collar has held up with no issues. Very good product all the way around!

The leather dog collar with name plate is not only very stylish and classic, but we have had it on our crazy boxer daily since December and like good leather, it looks better with age and is still in perfect condition. Having the name plate on the collar makes the house quieter and I know our sweet girl will never be lost with a tag that is actually attached to the collar itself. We love this collar and will definitely order another one IF we ever need to for Dublin....or our next dog!

I love these collars. They don't jingle with the nameplate, and if you need to clip on a leash you have two options. They are fairly durable and stand up to swimming in the ocean. Just rinse the collars when you rinse your pup!

This is the third leather collar with nameplate that we have purchased from Gun Dog Supply. We now have two German Shorthairs and they are very active, spend a lot of time in the woods, and love to play rough, so we needed a tough collar and love this one. Having the nameplate on the collar means no hanging tags that can get caught on sticks and braches. Highly recommend this product!

Love this collar! It is gorgeous, fits my dog Huckleberry perfectly and has made transferring him from his lead to a tie-out while camping super easy! In fact I like this collar so much will be ordering for the rest of our dogs soon.

Good looking collar. Makes the pup look pretty stylish, almost too good looking to go out in the swamp. This collar has been wet many times and is standing up well and still looking good. I've only had it for about 4 months, so I'll update on how it's holding up in a year or 2.

Lots of weather here with snow, hail, rain and hot windy summers. The collar has held up well.

Excellent collars. The detail to engraving was great. Both dogs (King Dobermans) wear them daily as they walk thru the neighborhood. Having the top ring makes it easy to attach leashes.

I am very pleased with the 4 dog collars. They all wore them in a group portrait that was done of them. They all looked very handsome.

The one thing that bummed me out was the fact that it bleeds on my white english setter. the quality is stellar though and the price is great! Got a red collar (though it looks a bit pink) with nameplates for those rainy days/swimming days =]

Reasonable price and great collar

I couldn't give an excellent rating even though I would purchase again. The leather has one problem and that it easily \"bleeds\" reddish brown dye down the snow white neck fur around my Brit. He doesn't care but for me I would prefer to have leather natural color without dye.
