Great collar. I will also get one for my 1 year old Lab soon. Just one suggestion, have you looked into a quick connect-release made also of brass in addition to the brass buckle model that you offer now? I would buy that if it was available. Thanks

Collar looks great. Ordered extra nameplate, and they look great. Very flashy on my Yellow Lab.
Ordered the wrong size at first (100% my fault), sent it back and got the right size one with both nameplates on it free.

Excellent quality...Wont find a better collar a twice the price. Petsmart charges $10 for a cheap nameplate alone. These collars are premium ..the brass ring on the back of the collar is ideal for leashes. Both my dogs wear one.

Awesome collar. I get compliments on them all the time. The leather is good quality... and my dogs are rough on them, including swimming with them/sand etc. I just oil them once every couple of months or so and good to go. We can go from hunting to obedience class to just going for a walk and these collars look great and do their job. Have had them for about 6 months and still look fairly new.

Item arrived very quick. VERY well made. Great workmanship. My dog Maya loves it much better than the standard nylon one she has been wearing. She used to scratch at it all the time.And with this leather one, she has stopped all scratching! GREAT product Steve. I WILL be a return customer for sure.

Wow, this collar is beautiful and thick, with heavy duty buckle and ring. You will not find a collar of this quality at your LPS, and no collar at this price. Great Collar for my German shorthair buying one for my new lab too. The puppy collar is a little heavy for the Yorkie because it is such thick quality leather. I love these things, might buy one for the wife!

When I was a kid, my family used center ring safety collars, and I have always loved them the best. For a while, I had a devil of a time finding them but then Gun Dog Supply went online and I felt 'at home' again. They are rugged, durable collars that look smart in town or country and are (I believe) much more comfortable for the dogs too. I recommend them to all of my puppy buyers. I wish that the nice, finished ones in black and mahogany came in larger sizes. Pet folks often opt for a fancier collar from a boutique because the polished ones don't come in a size 15 neck. That is my only suggestion. Great products. Kerrin

Excellent collar that's tough as nails. My 100 lb Chocolate lab Gumbo and me put this collar through its paces everyday training, and also during the season. You'd think the nameplate was welded on, its so sturdy. Great product at a great price. I recommend it to anyone. -LBM

The collars are great. Several people have asked where they were purchased and I provided them the website. Having hunting hounds that follow their nose everywhere makes having an attached nameplate great...especially since my dog catches hanging tags on everything.

The collar was great. It was actually the second one I had purchased from you. It was a Christmas gift to my daughter, but unfortunately another dog chewed it in half while she had her dog in "doggie daycare", and they wouldn't pay for it. So we only got to enjoy it for a couple of weeks.

We love these collars - they look classy and are tough enough to hold up to our day to day activities of hiking, hunting and ranching. The leather quality is excellent and the brass hardware is solid. Just wipe off excess water/mud as needed and occasionally apply a little leather conditioner (once or twice a year).
We chose to put our phone numbers on the nameplate, which contributes to the safe return of our young lab after a backyard escape - 4 hours and 2 miles later!

Love em! I buy one for each dog when their about 6 months old. I've got three. The oldest one is now approaching 5 yrs old. They are never taken off. Tags are clearly, deeply
engraved and solidly attached.
Other than color aging, they show little wear. I expect they'll be a lifetime collar for each dog.

The leather dog collar with name plate is not only very stylish and classic, but we have had it on our crazy boxer daily since December and like good leather, it looks better with age and is still in perfect condition. Having the name plate on the collar makes the house quieter and I know our sweet girl will never be lost with a tag that is actually attached to the collar itself. We love this collar and will definitely order another one IF we ever need to for Dublin....or our next dog!

Good looking collar. Makes the pup look pretty stylish, almost too good looking to go out in the swamp. This collar has been wet many times and is standing up well and still looking good. I've only had it for about 4 months, so I'll update on how it's holding up in a year or 2.
