I love this collar! Gracie is my service dog. I love the brass ring on the top of the collar. Very easy to leash Gracie up. The brass has darkened her fur up a bit, but no big deal.

Excellent quality; looks great; I followed the measuring guide, but it fits on the last hole, and I wish it had an extra loop/band to hold the excess, so it does not curl away from the collar. I am not sure how I feel about the ring in the middle of the collar...seems like too much metal that interferes with the fit/flexibility...Great service and quick :)

After a few days the stitching near the D-ring started to ravel. So the collar wasn't as good as expected. BUT, emailed GDS about the problem and had a response in minutes. It was explained some manufacturers had a problem with single stitching.
They are sending me a replacement collar...Sam was great to work with and I am a BIG FAN of Gun Dog Supply's attention to customer service.
So, a 3 star on the collar, but a 5+ star for Gun Dog!!

This is a great collar. Mt Brit is very hard on equipment as he busts in & out of the thickest brush and stickers there are when he is hunting. This collar is tough enough to handle this abuse and still looks good.

The collar is beautiful. Just as shown in the picture. It's thick leather with brass fittings. It seems quite durable. Although the center O-ring is intended to help the dog slip out of the collar if they get caught on something, it is a great place to clip a leash. When I received the collar, the brass name plate was flat, so I gently bent it into a curve with my hands to match the curve of my dog's neck. Very satisfied with this purchase.
