I don't use it on my dog - for obvious reasons - I use it on my horses. It is a great product for the feet and it smells wonderful too.

Seems to help in the healing process of sore/bruised feet. Time will tell if it helps prevent injuries to the feet.

Dog with poor conformation would tear pads after one day. Tuff foot does a solid job of keeping his feet healthy. Two weeks seems to be a good time frame for work up.

Tuf-Foot for Dogs was easy to apply, caused no stains on upholstery or floors, and most importantly, my dog seemed to tolerate it without any noticeable discomfort and without making a fuss. After using it as directed, she came back from a 2.4mi walk on asphalt and grass surfaces without any injury to her pads and without limping.

It works great. I apply once daily for a week or two before spring bear hunt.

Haven't seen a huge improvement in toughness/thickness, but was enough to make him comfortable enough to hunt again within a week after tearing off a layer of his pad. Easy to apply, does not stain. Intend to try it on the horse's feet too!

We have used this for years. It seems that the stuff we got about 5 or 6 years ago was just a bit different. The old stuff seemed just a bit better.

Works really good to protect my dog from hot asphalt surfaces in Florida. Kind of a pain in the neck to apply twice a day, but it's worth it because it definitely makes a big difference.

The big test will come Nov.3-6 when we hunt in SD. I'm applying it 1-2 times daily and have been now for a couple of weeks. Will take some with us when we go out there.

Headed out opening weekend of Chukar season... Dog's pads got torn up and was worried that I'd be having this issue all season long in the terrain we were in (first season on Chukar). Picked this stuff up after reading some reviews and it works.... We did ~8 miles (Dog had to have done 20+) yesterday in some of the toughest country I've hunted and not one worn pad. This stuff is impressive.

The bottle is a little small. It smells antiseptic like. I have a big trip coming up so I will know more then. My vet freaked out and thought he had allergies because his pads were red I won't care about any of this if it actually works.

My dog blew out his pads on our first hunt of the year. We had a 4 day hunt planned 2 weeks later, used the Tuf-Foot leading up to the hunt. His feet were healed and he was ready to roll when the hunt started and I didn't have any issues with his feet on our hunt.

Used this for adventure racing. I did not receive one blister for the duration. It's an awesome product.

This last bottle I bought is for the traveling first aid kit. I do not want to be without this product. Tuf-Foot has healed Teddy's feet quite a few times, and I rely on it.

A little early to tell. Dog doesn't care for it. Ask me in a month if I like it. Chukar is just around the corner.

It toughens up my Lab Cash's feet, and they are not sore like in the past after the first of several days of SD pheasant hunting.

Bella was limping. Took her to the Vet, and they said that she may have something in her pad and was infected, but they could not find anything. She lives to go out in the fields and run, so I gave the Tuff foot a try, and so far so good.

Without using Tuf-Foot I have a little trouble slipping the carpal pads when running several days hunting. Tuf-Foot toughens the pads, so I don't have this problem.

This product has saved my Sheltie a lot of cut paw pads. It works fast and heals fast if they are cut. I use it all the time now to prevent new injuries to his paw pads.

Purchased this to protect our dogs pads. We have a pool and concrete all in the backyard. So every year we would have to deal with our dogs pads peeling and coming off in chunks because of the hot concrete. My vet told me about this product. I have been using this for the last two years. Our dogs pads no longer are peeling as long as we use this product.

I actually purchased this to try to toughen my feet after a bout of chemotherapy. It did a great job, and I am no longer hobbling around feeling every tiny thing I step on.

Has helped my 1 yr old German Shepherd. He is cow-hocked and twists his back legs when he walks, which has led to sore pads. I used Tuf Foot along with Mushers Secret and between the two products, he is no longer limping. Also hooked him up with neighbor's 1 yr old female Weimaraner, and he runs like no tomorrow trying to herd her, getting great workout along the way! Thanks to Steve/GDS for making this possible!

I started using on my dog 2 times a day for a week and now 1 time. We walk every day, but I am not sure if it has really done what I thought it would. I have, and still use the Mushers Wax, but her paws are still so rough. I use the TufBoots when we have to walk through gravel, but she hates them, so I use only for the gravel areas. I will keep using and am going to go back to 2 times a day for another week.

Tuf-Foot seems to have made a difference in toughening up our retired greyhound's pads. Her pads have always been extremely thin, so walking on concrete is difficult for her. It's only been a few weeks that I've been rubbing Tuf-Foot on the bottoms of her pads, but already I am seeing a little bit of improvement.

This product worked very well to toughen the pads of my dogs feet. Her pads were peeling because they were just too delicate. My complaint is this product is very potent and STAINS.

When I got my bottle of Tuf-Foot, Teddy had a nasty triangular cut on his left back large pad. It is now all healed from using the product every morning before he goes outside. Do not want to ever be without it in my First Aid kit.

Worked well on my lab. Her feet were abraded by FL sand, and she regained a normal pad. Will continue to use as hunting season nears.

My dogs seem to really like this product. I live on 2 acres of paving stone paths, and the dogs run on the sandpaper like pavers all day. Their pads were getting torn up. This product is healing and restoring their pads to their natural state.

I find it a little hard to use out of the bottle. I usually dilute it with rubbing alcohol and put it into a spray bottle. The product itself works great at toughening up my dogs feet. I usually start applying it a week or two before hunting season.

Applied it to my oldest dog Chukar for 2 weeks before we went to Arizona. Worked great. I did not need boots for Chukar. I highly recommend this product. Chuck Johnson

I use this religiously for my hands, feet and my dogs' pads. Before I found this product, my hands would tear at least once a month during crossfit workouts, and my dog's pads would get tears every freeze. Since I started using it regularly, I have no rips, and my dogs pads are healthy too.

My Sheltie runs the fence line herding cars and people on the driveway. He often cuts the big pads on his back feet. Tuf-Foot heals his pads and keeps them from cracking again. I love it!.

I have best results when using it a week in advance of a hunting trip.

This is a great product. I use it when I know I am going to be hunting rough terrain, even when my dog isn't cut up. I find it makes the pad more durable.

This stuff is incredible! My pointer was having touble with tender feet. I put it on twice a day for a week, and I have not had any problems since.

Great turnaround time from order to delivery. I like the fact that it dries very quickly. I haven't used it very much since I bought it, because of medical issues with my dog (not related to this product), but it seems to help the pads.

This has an antiseptic smell, but it does seem to work well on a wound.

Within a few days could definitely tell a big difference. Her pads began healing from sand burn and became supple and tough. Love this product, although my wife says it stinks, I don't mind it.

Very easy to apply and it doesn't bother the dog that much at all while applying it. Great stuff too. We hunt here in Western WA in some awful tough country and our Springer needs all the foot protection he can get. Boots absolutely will not work on him so this stuff is perfect.

Seems to work well. My GSP is a couch dog all the way up to hunting season so his feet are very tender when he starts the season of trudging through the brush. Ever since I have started using this product his feet never seem to bother him. It has quite a distinct odor, not a bad one just strong herby like smell. For a house dog you can smell it when he is close to you. Definitely not bad enough not to use the product because I really think it helps his feet a lot.
