The brass snap is inferior and too small. Prefer the stiffer rope. The softer rope picks up stickers and trash.

Goes through brush well, but thinner diameter of cord makes it harder to hold dog back. Pulls through hands easily.

Felt the snap was a bit undersized. I also prefer the snap style that "scissors" to open and close. It is quicker and easier on an active dog. Other than that a good buy and solid lead.

Seems to be as advertised. My dog has not gotten snagged dragging this through some heavy cover. Rolls up nicely. Good rope with a snap :) Would have given it a 5 but how excited can you be about a lead?

This cord has been a great addition to my equipment for training my young dog. It is easy to spot as he returns and easy to step on to stop run by's. Never gets caught on anything so far!!

The only thing I would like to see different is for the snap to be one size larger, so that it could double up and be used as a slip lead. As it is, the snap opening is the same size as the line, so it really does not work as a slip lead very well. Other than that, I really like the product.

It feels good in your hand. It is not stiff and heavy like another check cord I have. It goes thru the brush without catching. It works great for my Gordon's as well as my Field Spaniel.
