I work with a no-kill dog shelter in Texas. The slip lead feature and shorter length of this lead make my job much easier. I use the lead to retrieve our dogs from their kennels, escort them outside for playtime, and retrieve them when it's time to go back inside. Excellent product that works extremely well with all sizes of dogs for this purpose.

This leash is well made, looks good, and arrived quickly! Although I ordered black, and received a camo colour, I think I like the colour better than plain black! Shipping was expensive, but I can't find this lead anywhere! Thanks, I'll definitely buy from you guys again!

Love this soft slip lead. The 4 ft. is perfect for working/training/walking, with your dog. Very handy length! The 6 ft. gives a few options. The leather stop is great for holding the lead in place. I keep one of these in both vehicles and use them every few days. They are soft and pliable, yet thick enough to be strong and will not hurt my dog. I use them when we are out in public, as it gives me lots of control, but is gentle on my dog's neck.

This is so easy to use, and the dogs like it. If I get the leash out and form the neck loop, the girls immediately put their heads through the loop. I guess it means that they like it and want to go! Just love them. Very comfortable and work well with training. Nothing to snap or buckle.

I bought two of these (one six foot, and one four foot). While I realize they are not tough like the Dayglo chain leads with floating ring I hunt with, these type of leads are great for taking the dogs to the vet, etc.
The third time using the six foot, my Plott snapped it in half. I could not believe it.
I am very disappointed in this product and would not recommend it to anyone (unless you have a little tiny breed.

Quick and can be adapted for a nose loop or a waist loop for closer control or training. It is the only lead I use.

Dog responded very well. Liked it because it's not as narrow as the nylon vet leashes. and the leather stopper works great Be careful not to leave them unattended with it on as chewy dogs will go right through it. Good value for the cost.

The six foot slip lead allows me to control the dogs with either a figure 8 around the snout or a loop around the waist, or as a conventional lead. It is quick to release and allows me to avoid the necessity of a collar, which can lead to hanging or hang up in a working dog. Great product. PS: The four foot is great for walking the dog with a figure 8 around the snout, but is not long enough for the waist loop. You need the 6 foot lead for that. I have both and love them.

I have had this type of lead in the past and it works great for controlling a dog without harming them or my hand if an unexpected thug is transmitted. With three dogs it made sense to get two more leads. Gun Dog Supply was the best and most economical place to get them. I would recommend both the leads and Gun Dog Supply.
