This is the best leash I've ever used for large breed dogs. It's comfortable in my hand, even when they pull. And it's sturdy and durable. I have had my last one for almost 15 years and only bought this second one because I recently got a second dog.

I have several of these leashes that are old and well used. They show very few signs of wear and are my go to leash whenever I need a snap-leash rather than a slip lead. I bought this one as a back up to be carried in my truck.

Leash would be a 5 star for my own dogs, which are trained pretty well, but I bought this one for walking at the Humane Society, where the dogs are generally pretty pully. The loop around the wrist can really cut in. For winter, with gloves, it is not so bad, but without gloves, 3 hours of walking can get painful.

Superb quality. Love the leash. I know there is a 6 ft option, but I do wish the 4 feet was measured from leather piece to leather piece, not to the end of the hand loop. Being picky I know, but those few more inches would go a long way. Overall, love the leash!

Great leash for a puppy. We leave it on her in the house, and since it is round, it is unlikely to get hung up on chair or table legs. Works great to snatch her up if she is about to do her business in the house.
