Very pleased with these name tags. They’re heavy enough to last for a long time. Had trouble in the past with dangling tags getting caught on floor registers or the tag hole wearing through. These tags solve those problems. Easy to put on, clearly legible. My dog is safer wearing these on her collar and harness. Thank you Gun Dog Supply

We went to an all cellphone life, so our dog identification information had to change, too. Additional Brass Stamped ID’s with rivets was the solution from Gun Dog for our four German Shorthair Pointers,

I think I have ordered at least a thousand of these (not really but a lot of them over the years). They are an unbelievably excellent quality. The lettering last forever, much longer than any collar I have ever bought for my dogs. There is also plenty of room to accommodate all of the information that I need on the tag. I won the leather collar, which was very good quality but I wanted another brass tag for my dog's name and my phone number. The original one has the award information on it, the one that I ordered came quickly, the information was exactly as I wanted, and the tag is not a cheap piece of metal. Also the rivets were included that matched everything.

I was searching for name plates for my passed pets memorial when I came across GunDog.
I ordered 3 different plates, 2 for the passed and 1 for our present rescue. I figured these would be made of thin brass plated sheet metal however I proceeded anyway.
I received them very quickly which was a surprise. First thing I noticed was the weight, not sheet metal. The quality was great and everything was correct.

Love the brass and the stamped information! It would be very hard to scratch out because it a deep in gracing which I like. It’s also great because of the rivets used to attach to the collar. She won’t be able to rip it off! We will be placing an order for our chi.

These tags are perfect for my active dogs. The cheap ones made out of aluminum wear out and the writing rubs off. These are sturdy and done wear out. The rivets are a better option that the key chain loop.

I have had multiple different brass plates on collars as phone numbers and addresses have changed. I can't go without them. They offer so much peace of mind knowing that if my dog is lost our numbers are right there. Best part is they don't make a bunch of noise like dog tags that hang from the collar, so my hunts are quiet.

Bought two personalized brass name plates for some new collars which didn't have them. Ordering process was simple, easy and straight forward. Product shipped quickly. When product arrived, not all of the rivets were in the box for both tags. A quick call to Customer Service and the company sent a new package of rivets, pronto! We don't hunt, my dog is the hunter. I don't like having tags on an everyday dog collar. Hanging tags get caught on stuff outside, and on stuff in the house (like crocheted comforters).
I bought enough tags to put one on each of her harnesses, collars, and a couple to have for spares.
Why 4 stars and not 5?
I got my last batch of brass collar name plates from Dr Foster & Smith - now out of business. The engraving/printing/stamping on the old name plates is superior to the ones from Gun Dog Supply. Both are very readable, both will last longer than I will.
If I need more will I order the same thing from GDS? Yes!
