These tags are great for people that are transient and have active dogs that always need to wear a collar with ID. We have ordered a few of these each place we have moved to with relevant info on them for our area. I saved one of the old ones from each place we lived as mementos, but when we got the latest batch this year, the font was different. I dont like the new font as much as the older ones, the older font seemed cleaner more simple, and the text also wasn't spaced out as evenly on the new ones as it was on the old ones (m ore spa ce bet ween som e lette rs). Anyway, the brass seems like the same stuff. And the rivets are stupid simple to apply with a hammer and anvil. I like to back each of the rivets with a washer under the collar for extra security so they cannot pull through the collar (maybe something y'all should consider including). Either way, its a metal tag that has the text on it, it is made well, but misses the fifth star because of the weird font change and the printing quality. I'm sure its just a hiccup with a supplier that the folks at GDS will work out the kinks on in no time.

I needed a new name plate for my new puppy and this one came quickly and was totally accurate to what I ordered.

The engraving is deeper than pet store tags, and as long as you beat heavily on the rivet it stays put. Initially I tried to be nice to it and not beat it up. Apparently it likes it rough. Only had them for a week but they havent come off yet. Tags would have been gone by now, as my dogs are always getting into or chasing something at my ranch.

Great ID plates with fast shipping! I have used these on other collars that I already had. All the other collars I have have been ordered from Gun Dog Supply with the plates included. Super easy to install on a nylon collar, just use a soldering tool to melt the holes for the rivets. Easy and no 'hanging tag' to make noise or get caught on something.

Overall, this is a good name tag, but I do not like the fact that I can’t put my street address on there. You need to get rid of the second phone number and leave room for an owners street address.

I recently ordered three nameplates for our dogs leather collars. We moved and needed to update their information. I had previously ordered the leather collars for all three of our dogs and they are still in great shape. Having the option to change out the nameplate was terrific! Very pleased with these name tags. They’re heavy enough to last for a long time. Had trouble in the past with dangling tags getting caught on floor registers or the tag hole wearing through. We went to an all cellphone life, so our dog identification information had to change, too. Additional Brass Stamped ID’s with rivets was the solution from Gun Dog for our four German Shorthair Pointers, along with microchips from the vet., of course. These Brass Stamped ID’s are easy to place on their collars, and give us added confidence that our dogs can be quickly identified.

Riveting a brass name plate to my dogs collars is a great improvement over hanging id's on the collar ring is so much more secure.

I won the leather collar, which was very good quality but I wanted another brass tag for my dog's name and my phone number. The original one has the award information on it, the one that I ordered came quickly, the information was exactly as I wanted, and the tag is not a cheap piece of metal. Also the rivets were included that matched everything.

This nameplate was just what I wanted/needed for my little Redbone. We have a pretty thick collar on her so we did have to change out the rivets. Other than that, perfect! I was able to put all kinds of info on it.

I was searching for name plates for my passed pets memorial when I came across GunDog. I ordered 3 different plates, 2 for the passed and 1 for our present rescue. I figured these would be made of thin brass plated sheet metal however I proceeded anyway. I received them very quickly which was a surprise. First thing I noticed was the weight, not sheet metal. The quality was great and everything was correct.

Love the brass and the stamped information! It would be very hard to scratch out because it a deep in gracing which I like. It’s also great because of the rivets used to attach to the collar. She won’t be able to rip it off! We will be placing an order for our chi.

These tags are perfect for my active dogs. The cheap ones made out of aluminum wear out and the writing rubs off. These are sturdy and done wear out. The rivets are a better option that the key chain loop.

I have used these for years on many different dog collars. These also go on the harness my German Sheperd Service Dog wears. I got a beloved Yellow Lab back because of these tags. Put your name, dogs name, vet info, adress, phone numbers, everthing - I use 2 tags on each collar..... Love these tags and Snell.............

I don't have a dog but your product is going on other items. The picture attached is a ice fishing tip up in which they need to have your name on them, this looks nicer than a black sharpie
