The stitching has failed. The collar is coming apart and will have to be re-sewn to remain serviceable. The collar is also of lighter construction than ones that I have had in the past. Nothing to write home about for sure, as I don't believe that the collar is but 6-8 months old. Collars of past have lasted me years and not failed. Regards.

Bought two of these collars. So far they've been holding up awesome! It's been really snowy here, and my dogs play so rough. I'm surprised they're not damaged. The collars hold up well in the cold wet snow. The only marks on the collars are score marks from their teeth from playing. I love the collars. They're awesome!

The nameplate should have been placed close to the rivet that holds the ring that holds the two leather parts together. The end of the leather now covers most of the name plate. If I could see the name plate I would give it 5 stars. Poor placement of nameplate.

I bought this for our Cattle Dog. She is still a pup at 9 months. Needed a secure collar as she and our German Shepherd pull on each others collars and were tearing through them. I came across GDS website and was drawn to the leather collar with the name plate on it. My favorite feature is the ring in the middle. The collars are sturdy and well made. I like the name plate as she did lose her name tag on the other collar due to the tugging. All in all I love the collar, should I have to get another collar I am coming to this site first!

I absolutely LOVE this collar! First, I was in a hurry because our pet had ventured across the road, and the people had tried to call the old number on her collar. Luckily she came home, but once I found out, I was on a mission for a new one ASAP. Even with Christmas a few days away, I got this new collar QUICK. I was surprised and very happy. Then I opened it, and the quality and look was amazing!! It's heavy duty, sturdy, and looks great. I'm so happy I found this site and will definitely continue to use it!
