I have been using these "dummy"s for years with my German Shepherds. They are easy to "fling" because of the attached rope and soft enough on their mouth to not make the dog become shy of catching mid-air. They float, which enables training in and around water (at least until the valve gets popped out with a lucky bite;')

Excellent product. It's durable, washable and easy to see. I'm the envy of my dog park when Kalli (my Black Lab) and I practice retrieving. All the other dogs want one, too, Also, the dummy takes scents well, so I can use it for waterfowl or pheasants training.

I like the size of these, but the plugs fell out of the 3 that I bought within a few throws. Good thing I wasn't planning on using them for water.

I usually buy the hard, hexa-shape kind, but the dog can see the black/white LD better. Its also cheaper and you can add water for extra weight, which is nice.

I am having problems with water blinds. The very bright white bumpers are just what I needed. Just wish they were made in the USA instead of China.

Meah. Right size, right weight for my Brittany. But she attacks and destroys the water inlet valve if you turn around for 30 seconds. So the water fill option is of no use.

My dog Chance has been using the sport dog since he was a puppy. I used it as a training toy in the park but mostly in the water. It has great quality and comes with the rope. Any time I take Chance swimming people always ask me where did I get that great toy.

Great basic dummy, I like the heavier weight.

The wife can really throw the dummy a good 50 feet with ease. Our 3 month old lab loves the fetch game. Good excersize for wife and dog.

I've been running Labs for 51 years and this bumper is the best. It has the right amount of rubber so it doesn't crack in the cold Montana weather. The weight is right for throwing. Other brands were to light to toss for much distance. Although the rope that comes with the bumper is functional, I replace it with a longer rope for more distance.

These things really fly. I prefer the fluted ones but they've been unavailable for a while. These are excellent as well. It doesn't take much effort to get them to go far.

I have been purchasing these dummies for years. We use them with our dogs for water toys. They love them, ocean, lake or pool. They don't get lost in the water surface and they last a long time. My one male was a super chewer and he eventually would cause holes in the plastic but they still help up for a long time. We love them, Gun Dog Supply is awesome.
