I have six of these leashes. Won't buy any other kind. We keep three at home and three at our cabin in the mountains. Highly recommended. People always ask me about them. Most people think a long leash or extend and retract leashes are best until I explain to them how to use this one and show them. I tell them walking at heel is best and safest.

This is an excellent leash, purchased for my 9 wk old puppy. He took to it immediately. When he strains it he realizes it right away and is quick to comply with little or no direct correction other than tension. I also have had interest and questions by people complimenting my puppy and his behavior.

British-Style Slip Lead works well for all dogs. I work with dogs at a local shelter and many of our volunteers ask where they can get these leashes. The leash enables you to leash up a dog quickly and safely, and then release it easily when needed. I have ordered a number of them and recommend them to all!

I modify leash to keep from choking. I arrest leather stop to leash with wire and move metal ring above leather stop. I use leash around neck and under front leg. This way leash never cinches up on throat. I'll take a picture and send it to you.

I love this lead because it will relax as soon as my dog or I stop pulling against it. This is a great aid in teaching any dog not to pull on the leash, but to walk calmly with you. I love the quality.

I keep this lead in my car with me. It comes in very handy if one of my own dogs gets loose without a collar on. I also use it when I come across a stray dog that needs to be saved from busy roads. I love it! It is very well made!

I just got a German Shepard from the shelter. I hired a trainer and a dog psychologist to help me with him since he has some issues. The trainer gave a prong collar that I hated mostly because it is so hard to get on and off.. I decided to try this leash. I asked the psychologist if I should switch from this leash to a martingale collar with a leather leash. He told me to stick with this leash because it is such a GOOD leash. I was happy to hear that since I have no knowledge of the quality of dog products.

I use this primarily to walk dogs at our local Humane Society. It encounters lots of un-trained, leaping pulling, leash biting and fractious dogs. This is my second leash of this type, and I find it works very well. Dogs don't get away, and it is long enough to use a barrel loop on the especially energetic pups. Great leash!
