This antenna worked great for the first week. After that it wouldn't track my collars for more than 300 yards. Would not recommend this product.

Works as advertised. Increased the range of my Garmin Astro 320 using dc40 collar. Will be adding new dc50 collars and really expect improvements on range and reception during bear and lion hunting in rough country.

The long range antenna has made my knowing where my dogs were on numerous hunting trips in the mountains of Northern Arizona, Utah & Wyoming. There has been many times that, without the long range antenna, we would not have a signal on the dogs, but thanks to the antenna we would know their location.

Great product. A must have for deer dogs. I have tracked dogs at 3 miles in SE NC swamps with no problems.

It is a must have for hounds, but there are two kinds. One is better than the other. Wish I knew brand names. The one with the black base is better than the one with black and chrome base.

Only have had the antenna for about a month, and have not had any issues. Been getting good range with connected to my Alpha. I would recommend a set of quick connects for a quick disconnect and connect to the short range antenna that comes with your system.

I have gotten, at the most, 6 miles out of my antenna. The long range antenna that came with my Garmin 320 only produced up to 2 miles.

Great design. Works well. The nut that screws into the handheld needs to be longer. It is hard to get your fingers on it to get it screwed in, but other than that works good.

Have not used it for long range yet, but love the design, and it has worked great so far. Just haven't had the dogs go out far enough to need the long range part of it yet.

I own the magnetic roof mount antenna, and just recently bought the buzzards roost long range antenna, for the fact that I have a few dogs that sometimes go out further than two miles at times. Well I'm very disappointed in the buzzards roost antenna. I was losing signal at 100 yards, compared to 2 miles with the regular roof mount antenna. Bad product not happy with it at all.
